Xtend Life Active Day Cream

Photobucket

An outstanding age defense product as well as daily skin care cream, Xtend Life's Age Defense Active Day Cream ranks my number one skincare cream!

Besides the wonderful Age Defense, I've seen a real change in my skin since my use with Xtend Life's Day Cream. I'm used to having oily skin one day and totally dry the next and often circles under my eyes and at 21 I have noticed tiny fine lines and have been on the hunt to find a really good quality cream to help prevent aging.

Let's face it, I tan, smoke and drink Dr. Pepper. To think I don't have to worry about fine lines and aging skin in my future would be a joke. I started trying some of the popular anti-aging creams at 19 and then got even more serious at 20 and at 21 I'm looking for something reliable. I really want to prevent signs of aging. At least I'm being honest, right?

With only small fine lines, it's hard to know for sure if a product is going to help prevent aging signs. That's where my mother comes in handy! I have her use the creams as well so she can give me her results. Not that she's wrinkly, but her fine lines are more apparent than mine.

At the end of the day of my first use with Xtend Life's Day Cream, I was telling my partner that even if it didn't prove to do too much for aging signs, it was worth it just for the other skin benefits! It gives me a healthy look and glow. This is a cream that I actually see working everyday unlike everything I've tried before.

The past 2 weeks I've been sick and a real mess which was the perfect time to put this stuff to the test. I never get serious dark under eye circles, but when I'm sick and running on no sleep, they are noticable. I used it under my eyes and lightly massaged. The dark circles weren't there at all and the little bit of puffiness was totally gone!

The Age Defense Active Day Cream is great for hydrating the skin! It really made a big difference in mine. It's taken away all the usual dry skin and was especially good for after tanning sessions. My skin looks awesome and people have even noticed!

Unlike any of these other anti-aging creams I've tried, Xtend Life has proven to be of very high quality. I'm really not sure if this is a result of using Xtend Life or not, but I had about 4 small scars on my cheek and they bothered me very badly. I was telling my partner the other day that I don't even see them when I look in the mirror anymore. I haven't changed anything in my regular skin care regime besides adding Xtend Life, so I'm comfortable giving the credit to the Day Cream.

To sum it up, this is certainly a product I want to continue using and feel very comfortable with. I'm absolutely impressed with my results and my mother is too! It looks like we're fans already. I would give Xtend Life's Active Day Cream a 10 star rank. It's totally worth it.

Now, more on the Active Day Cream

It may not be in a fancy little jar like one of those commercials talk about on TV, but the 50 mL of Day Cream has blown any other cream I've used out of the water by a long shot.

The rich, velvety soft cream will cover my entire face with a small dab. I massage under my eyes, where crows feet appear and on my eye lids as well (no droppy eye lids for me!) I also apply the Active Day Cream around my mouth where smile lines appear, my cheeks and forehead. I've been just covering my entire face since it gives my skin a soft, even look. I've stopped using all face powders, bronzers and foundations after 2 weeks of using. I went to apply make-up one day and decided I didn't even need it. My face looked great. There was no redness, scars, oily-ness or under eye baggage, circles to conceal.

The directions state to apply the cream after cleansing and massage the neck and face gently. I haven't even been using it on my neck, but could probably benefit from that as well. I love how hydrating this cream is. I think it seems the hydrating helps a lot with under eye problems.

The ingredients inclue: aqua, ethylhexyl, palmitate, cetearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60,  glycerin, sorbitan, stearate, dimethicone, myristyl myristate, undaria, pinnatifida extract, keratin/hydrolysed keratin, alpha tocopherol, passiflora edulis/passiflora incarnata seed oil, phenoxyethanol / ethylhexylglycerin, xanthum gum, D-panthenol, vitis vinifera seed oil, lecithin / tocopheryl, acetate / ubiquinone / alcohol, tetrasodium EDTA.

The Active Day Cream also says "Cell rejuvenation technology" as well as "Nano CoEnzyme Q10 Grape Seed Oil Phytessence, Vitamin E" on the front of the bottle.

What it does?
Xtend Life's Active Day Cream stimulates collagen, It protects hyaluronic acid, reduces wrinkles and fine lines.

Xtend Life's Day Cream does not hide the signs of aging, it actually reverses those signs. That is one thing I love so much about it. I am not the kind of person who wants to have to cover up things. I want to have the pretty skin as naturally as possible, not by hiding it.

Something worth mentioning:
Xtend Life's Active Day Cream is paraben and fragrance free!

I have been enjoying the Day Cream so much that I plan to try the other Xtend Life skin care products. I will be sure to put down my thoughts for you guys on whichever products I end up choosing.

Monave Mineral Makeup; Teporah Foundation and Moisture Mousse

                                           My Pearl Of The Day

Monave's wonderful Teporah powder foundation is truly the best powder I've used on my face. It feels so light and does not smear, smudge, or leave thick lines. It's vegan too!

The Teporah was just a bit lighter than my skin color, but went on extremely well and I couldn't even tell that it wasn't my exact color. That's a really good thing since it's very hard to determine your exact color when shopping for makeup. Monave's powder foundation & Moisture Mousse foundation does well, even if it's a couple of shades off from your skin tone. It makes your face soft and smooth & I loved that it didn't magnify my little peeling areas. Most foundation causes every single dry patch or peeling skin to really stand out and that makes it so hard when trying to wear makeup.

It's the best for concealing break outs, blemishes and large pores! My skin looked completely flawless! I got quite a few compliments too. It goes on easy without much effort. Just dip your brush, swipe your face & you're done! It gives the perfect amount of coverage without suffocating your face. You can't even feel it on your skin. Also, major kudos to Monave for the long lasting foundation! I went to bed with it on & didn't get a chance to wash my face until the next afternoon & it looked so amazing & everything was still perfectly in place. I almost wanted to just skip washing and leave it on for the rest of the day!

Monave has amazing make-up items. The eyeshadows (rest assured, I'll post about them as well. Yes, with pics!) are very pigmented while still being light and the best part about them... they don't smudge and escape to your crease! Both their foundations and eye shadows are just stunning. Beautiful colors too! The Paula powder foundation is pretty, but was way too light for my skin. It looks gorgeous on my sister! It fit her's perfectly. Her skin's lighter than mine.

I'd say if you're skin color is right at medium, slightly tanned, then Teporah would be a perfect fit. Like I said, the foundation powders can be a bit off & still go on flawlessly without changing your color. Paula is a great powder foundation for about any light skin tone. They seem to match up perfectly with every skin color.

The moisture mousse is nice too. If you like liquid foundation or mousse foundation, you will definitely love Monave's Moisture Mousse. I love the mousse because it's a bit illuminating when worn around the eyes and on the cheeks. Kind of like a highlighter. I make sure to use extra around & under my eyes because it brightens them up a lot! It doesn't dry your skin or make wrinkles and fine lines more noticeable. It too conceals very, very well! I believe Monave has won over my heart. I have real difficulties in foundations. I've used everything & haven't had hardly any good experiences. They all seem to be too off & end up being so far off from your color. A lot of them turn my face a yellow-ish color and cause me to look super pale. I also have to be careful that it doesn't turn me orange since it's hard to find my medium color without it being orange. Then there's the problem with it streaking & bringing out every bit of dry skin for the world to see. Thankfully, none of these issues arise with the Monave make-up.

My beautiful readers, this is my PeArL of the day, this one isn't as, should I say rough as my last one. This is the very lovely Therapist's Secret Facial Oil from The Sanctuary.

With it's mixture of pure oils such as sun flower, jojoba, and wheat germ oil, The Sanctuary has a beautiful product in this one. It's perfect for all skin types. I know you see "oil" and think uh-oh, break-out central! Not at all. The Therapist's secret oil is designed to provide plumping and rejuvenation. It's described by The Sanctuary as "skin's superfood." I can't say they're wrong about that one. It has worked some wonders on mine.

LET'S GET DOWN TO THE DETAILS:

The oil can be used day or night. When I first got it, my face was both tanning bed burned & wind chapped or burned whatever you want to call it. I'd spent a toasty 20 minutes in a new tanning bed the night before & several hours later that night in the blistering cold, at my nephews ball game. So my skin was at it's absolute worst. I also had a hefty monthy bump on my nose! It was one of those horrible hard ones that are tremendously painful.

I used the oil after showering that night & the unbelievable dry, burned and chapped skin was 100% cleared, the redness gone, & only 2 days later that awful bump had totally vanished! Those bumps usually last for around 2 weeks. It never even came up, it seems the oil totally got rid of it.

I've now been using the oil for a couple of weeks I'd say & I've noticed a pretty big difference in my skin. It is very plump & extremely glow-y. I haven't had to use as much make-up & it just looks great!

                               WHAT IT DOES:

- Gives me gorgeous, glow-y skin.

-Seems to have cleared & prevented ALL blemishes, acne, & breakouts of all sort. I've not had a single one.

-Hydrates like a miracle.

-Plumps skin all over.

-Reduces signs of aging.

On the packaging it says you can use the oil alone or with a moisturizer to get extra plumping and glowing effects. I did both. The first use, I used it alone. & Then I started using it mixed with my moisturizer from california body care & there was a huge difference. It looks beautiful!

The only CON about the Therapist's Secret Oil & it was that it did leave my face looking very shiny & oily. It didn't feel oily, but to the touch it did & it looked so shiny, but that's to be expected with any oil & just a tiny swipe of powder or any make-up, bronzer, etc takes care of it while your skin still reaps the benefits of the oil. You can also use on of those oil reducing sheets on your face to wipe away the shiny look while still getting the benefits of the oil.

Overall, I'd give it a 10. It's really a great facial oil. I've had much less trouble with my skin and a lot less work to do to it as well.

*Have you tried this one or any others from The Sanctuary? If so please do let me know what your thoughts are. I'm dying to try more of their products, but I'm a little stuck as to which I'd like best. Let me know you're fav's & be sure to check out the oil as well.*
