My beautiful readers, this is my PeArL of the day, this one isn't as, should I say rough as my last one. This is the very lovely Therapist's Secret Facial Oil from The Sanctuary.

With it's mixture of pure oils such as sun flower, jojoba, and wheat germ oil, The Sanctuary has a beautiful product in this one. It's perfect for all skin types. I know you see "oil" and think uh-oh, break-out central! Not at all. The Therapist's secret oil is designed to provide plumping and rejuvenation. It's described by The Sanctuary as "skin's superfood." I can't say they're wrong about that one. It has worked some wonders on mine.

LET'S GET DOWN TO THE DETAILS:

The oil can be used day or night. When I first got it, my face was both tanning bed burned & wind chapped or burned whatever you want to call it. I'd spent a toasty 20 minutes in a new tanning bed the night before & several hours later that night in the blistering cold, at my nephews ball game. So my skin was at it's absolute worst. I also had a hefty monthy bump on my nose! It was one of those horrible hard ones that are tremendously painful.

I used the oil after showering that night & the unbelievable dry, burned and chapped skin was 100% cleared, the redness gone, & only 2 days later that awful bump had totally vanished! Those bumps usually last for around 2 weeks. It never even came up, it seems the oil totally got rid of it.

I've now been using the oil for a couple of weeks I'd say & I've noticed a pretty big difference in my skin. It is very plump & extremely glow-y. I haven't had to use as much make-up & it just looks great!

                               WHAT IT DOES:

- Gives me gorgeous, glow-y skin.

-Seems to have cleared & prevented ALL blemishes, acne, & breakouts of all sort. I've not had a single one.

-Hydrates like a miracle.

-Plumps skin all over.

-Reduces signs of aging.

On the packaging it says you can use the oil alone or with a moisturizer to get extra plumping and glowing effects. I did both. The first use, I used it alone. & Then I started using it mixed with my moisturizer from california body care & there was a huge difference. It looks beautiful!

The only CON about the Therapist's Secret Oil & it was that it did leave my face looking very shiny & oily. It didn't feel oily, but to the touch it did & it looked so shiny, but that's to be expected with any oil & just a tiny swipe of powder or any make-up, bronzer, etc takes care of it while your skin still reaps the benefits of the oil. You can also use on of those oil reducing sheets on your face to wipe away the shiny look while still getting the benefits of the oil.

Overall, I'd give it a 10. It's really a great facial oil. I've had much less trouble with my skin and a lot less work to do to it as well.

*Have you tried this one or any others from The Sanctuary? If so please do let me know what your thoughts are. I'm dying to try more of their products, but I'm a little stuck as to which I'd like best. Let me know you're fav's & be sure to check out the oil as well.*

Body Pure Foot toxin releasing pads!

I've finally gotten the chance to try those foot pads that you wear at night & they release toxins from your body and then the pad is all gross. Yes, I'm so intrigued by nasty things. I'm a nasty girl, OK? lol. I just couldn't resist showing you the pad (even after I used it!) Now if you're extremely sensitive to gross things then I might suggest not viewing the photo.

                                            HOW IT WORKS

It's fairly simple. You just have this adhesive pad and this small pouch kind of like those little silica things you find in new purses and shoes. But this pouch is bigger. It contains vinegar and tourmaline from what I understand those are the ingredients that are used to bring out the toxins. With Body Pure's foot pads, you only need one on one foot rather than using one of each foot with other brands.

So, you just stick the little pouch to the adhesive then stick it to the bottom of the foot. Then you sleep! Simple. I was afraid it'd be disturbing my sleeping, the feeling of the adhesive pad. I can't sleep with socks or anything wrapped on my feet. But to my surprise, it didn't bother me one bit.

I woke up after 5 hours and looked at it. Nothing. I didn't actually take it off my foot and look though because in the photos from Body Pure, it's all brown and very gooey looking all over the outside of the used pad while it's still on the foot. Mine was not like that at all.

It says to leave it on from 6-8 hours I believe. So I stuck around as long as I could before getting up. Leaving the pad on for 6 hours. I finally got up and had a few light things to do for another hour I'd say.

Finally the suspense of seeing what came out was too much to bear. I peeled back the adhesive stuff & took a peek. Didn't see anything too gross. I kept it on a while longer while constantly peeking to see.

Not too long after that I peeled it all the way off and wow! It was just a small area of greyis-green stuff! I kinda thought it may have been where it started to sweat and maybe that activated some kind of green-grey stuff. In the Body Pure photos, they're brown and the entire pad is covered. Mine was only in one area of the pad, the rest was clear.  & I couldn't see any stuff on the outside of the pad, only the inside that actually touched the bottom of my foot.

OK, y'all know me and of course, I had to smell it. It smelled like barbeque! Haha. I know that's gross and crazy, but it really did. It didn't smell bad like expected though.

There was one thing that had me wondering. I spit on the pad to see what would happen and it turned into the exact same greenish-gray sticky substance that supposedly came out of my foot. So, I used a drop of water on another part that wasn't already green & yep! Same thing happened. So I kind of wander if it's just sweat from your feet causing the powdery stuff in the pads to react & turn green. I don't know for sure.

I also used the same pad on my left foot the next night (the pad was already used, but I had to try it) and the pad had a lot more stuff on it so that also makes me wonder if using just one pad on one foot is good enough.

I have only used the pads once. I had one pad, used it earlier so I can't really whether or not it's good or bad, or if there's even results. I mean, there's nasty stuff on the pads, but I'm not sure that you actually feel better, more energized. I can say though, that my entire leg (the one with the pad) did feel lighter. Not sure if that was related to the pad or not.

I really enjoyed the pad mostly because I've been dying to try them & I'm so fascinated with gross stuff. I'm telling you, I have a freakin' ball with those ear candles! I cut them open to check out what came out. Man, those things are so fun!

I think the pads would be worth it to give it a try. It'd be nice to see what or if they made any difference in your well being, health or how you feel. It was just so hard to believe that it really made yucky stuff come out of your feet. If that stuff is really toxins from your body, then I'd say they're certainly worth it to get rid of that bad stuff. I would love to keep using them. The only thing about the pads is the price. They are a little tiny bit on the pricey side if you're a 21 year old paying your way through college. I would certainly jump at the chance to catch a good deal on them though!

Overall, I was overly fascinated with the experience & can't wait to try more. I think they're great pads to have and who knows how much better you'd feel after several uses.

I hope y'all lovelies will check them out: http://bodypure.com/ and please, please let me know your results if you've ever tried them or if you plan to! I'm dying to hear what others have experienced with these.

Much love,
Kendra
