Organic Excellence Hand & Body Therapy

I adore the Organic Excellence Hand and Body Therapy! It's literally the best cream I have ever used on my skin. My feet feel so silky, smooth and soft. In fact, I have the Hand and Body Therapy on right now -- I just applied it a while ago after showering and there is just nothing quite like the way my skin feels! My feet feel smoother than ever before, even smoother than when I had a pedicure (something I didn't take well to because it tickles!)

I know this seems like a lot of excitement over a cream, but for the love of Pete, this is amazing. My legs feel almost velvety... Yea, I slather this stuff all over. Go big or go home, right?

Besides the softest, most beautifully-feeling skin I have ever had in my life, there's plenty more amazing things to say about Organic Excellence's Hand and Body Therapy cream. For instance, my skin is somewhat dry and my legs kind of have a scaly look to them. My knees often are dry and paler than the rest of me, my feet are dry and somewhat cracked. After smoothing on some of the Hand & Body Therapy, this all completely disappears. It doesn't just enhance the look of my skin, it almost just gives me completely new skin!

I looked down at my bare thigh just now and it is so smooth and the skin just looks flawless. No wrinklies/cracks from my scaly-ness. The Hand and Body Therapy cream just smoothes everything out and almost seems to get rid of little wrinkly lines on my hands and feet and legs. This stuff is incredible.

Another thing that I want to rave about is the no-residue left behind! The cream is so thick and rich that I did expect some greasy or thick residue left between my fingers which usually irritates me, but I always deal with it by rinsing my hands of the lotions I use and leaving it on the rest of my body. No need with this stuff! There's no residue. When I apply it all over (hands, feet, legs) the cream is absorbed in less than 5 minutes and it absorbs well without leaving this weird sticky or shiny mess behind. And that's one thing I hate -- when I've applied lotion all over and then I find little flecks of dirt stuck to my feet from where the lotion left sticky residue that picks up pet hair and dirt on my skin!

Ah! I just wish ya'll could rub my arm right now and feel how soft. You can't even begin to understand the softness, smoothness, pretty-ness just by my words. But I'll move on and tell you more...

So I was reading about the Hand and Body Therapy lotion and here's what Organic Excellence says about it "Hand & Body Therapy offers special anti-aging ingredients to support collagen production, and restore skin elasticity. Protective nutrients prevent signs of aging and give your skin a fresh, youthful glow."

So if you were reading that description (above) you may not get overly excited if you're like me and have used countless lotions, creams and serums that claim to have collagen and all these anti-aging benefits, but holy moly! So this must explain why I notice such smooth, wrinkly-free skin! This must be a pretty hard-core lotion and seeing those little wrinklies and scales smooth out of my skin instantly make me want to use this stuff every day for the rest of my life because it's probably going to do a serious job at preventing aging signs like wrinkles, which I'm very paranoid about since I turned 23. Everyone says your skin (and body and everything else for that matter) goes downhill after your 20's, so since I turned 19, I began using anti-agers and paying serious attention to my health and skin.

And hey, I could use this stuff everyday for the rest of my life without it doing any harm since it's all organic ingredients.

I also love that the Hand & Body Therapy does leave a beautiful glow on my skin-- enhancing the complexion of my legs and arms -- without actually leaving some shiny, greasy sheen on me. I sure love some shimmer, but when a lotion claims to give me a glow and it ends up doing so via a greasy residue or shimmer, I get irritated. This happens to me with every lotion I have used! So I'm ecstatic that my skin does have a glow, but it's a healthy, natural glow from being truly moisturized and not from some weird ingredient that just lays on top of my skin.

Even after I've washed my hands, they're still incredibly smooth, soft and silky. The Hand And Body Therapy cream keeps my skin so soft and silky all throughout the day & night.

The first time I used the Hand and Body Therapy, while rubbing it in on my feet, I noticed the thick, creamy and super rich consistency means this could make a wonderful foot massage. Simply apply, massage and then leave it rubbed in for lovely, moisturized tootsies!

The cream is white and rich, somewhat thick. When I apply it to my skin, it doesn't feel watery, and as I rub, the white lotion fades away (into my skin.) I have noticed if a lotion is clear-ish and not a deep, rich white, it doesn't moisturize as well for me. Just something I thought I'd include.

There is virtually no scent to this since it is fragrance free, which is a good thing because fragrance often means irritation to skin. Being fragrance free also means this isn't going to send those of us who are migraine-prone into a dark room with an ice pack and ibuprofen (or BC powders if you're me) for a whole day.

Hand and Body Therapy is:
  • Rich in certified organic herbs and beneficial vitamins & nutrients.
  • Chemical, Gluten, fragrance and GMO free!
  • Made with truly high quality ingredients.
  • Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
  • Lotion penetrates deeply, bringing instant results.
  • Will hydrate even the driest skin.
  • Protects skin and is anti-aging while giving a youthful look to skin at the same time.
  • Contains Centella Asiatica, Evening Primrose Oil, Hyaluronic Acid and Shea butter, which each have amazing anti-aging, moisturizing and more benefits.
  • Antioxidant rich.
  • Renews collagen, restores tissue firmness & skin elasticity.
  • Repairs sun damage and prevents premature wrinkles!
  • Won't cause itching, but ingredients suggest it'd even be helpful and calming for those who have itchy skin.
  • Contains aloe vera! Ya'll know I love aloe. It has super healing properties for everything, including skin.
Since I'm talking about Organic Excellence and their ingredients, I want to mention the importance of organic/natural products. You can't always be sure that a product will be 100% natural or organic just because the label says so. I've had more than a few products claim 100% natural and organic but seen plenty of chemicals listed in the ingredients! So this is why it's important to look for "Certified organic" and check the ingredients. Organic Excellence's products are all completely, totally natural, safe and also Certified Organic, so no worries there.

Dr. wheatgrass

Hello again my beautiful readers,
I have a short one for y'all.

I received a sample of Dr wheatgrass' skin recovery cream, my review is in!

The wheatgrass cream from http://www.grassfactor.com/ is great for skin problems such as dry skin, eczema, molluscum and from what I've gathered it's suppose to heal anal fissures too. The lotion actually contains wheatgrass! How cool is that? Y'all know how I've recently became very fond of wheatgrass pills so I was so stunned to learn that the company offers wheatgrass skin recovery cream as well!

I had a small amount to use & I really liked it. I thought it made a wonderful foot cream as well! It's got a bit of a mint-y scent, not bad at all though.

 PROS:

1. Healing & I love that it really works on skin problems that are so common, but so tough to treat. That's amazing!

2.  It's organic.

3. I love that with wheatgrass, the results are practically never ending.

4. Perfect for dry skin even the toughest skin like on feet. Heals cracked heels too!

CONS:

1. I'm a cheapie so I did kind of find the prices to be a little high, but that's my opinion.

2. I believe with this product it can take using it regularly for a while before you see really big results so I was unable to really get a good idea of the entire benefits which I'm sure are outstanding.

Other than that, I believe highly in the product!

VOTRE VU REVIEWS

I have ordered several thing from the Votre Vu line of skincare products. I was really unsure about paying the prices because to me, they were pretty high (some of em') and the brand isn't a popular one, or at least I hadn't ever heard of it but, I had the 3rd person ask me to do a review on a few of their products so, I forked over the cash and ordered:
the Votre Vu attentive cream for sensitive skin which is a moisturizer. It was ok. That's about all I can say. It didn't do anything special. I have really dry skin so I have to use moisturizer but this stuff didn't seem to do anything that the $3 moiturizers don't do. I wouldn't ever purchase it again.

I also ordered the Votre Vu Tarte D'amande, rich souffle lotion type thing. It's almond pie scented and smells great but, didn't work any better than wal mart's lotion. Actually the Jergen's overnight repair and pretty much their entire line is 10x better than this Votre Vu.

Then, I tried the eye gelee. It's for eye bags and dark circles. I hated that it didn't do a damn thing for mine and the sad part is that my eye circles and bags aren't too bad at all and it still didn't work well. I noticed no difference.

As for the Votre Vu attentive allergic reaction serum, I have yet  to need it but, my hopes are not up.

Then there's the Votre Vu Fleur Blanc tonic for all skin. It's a tiny spray/mist thingy and I am not exactly sure what the results were supposed to be but, once again I saw no results. The little spritz thingy though, it's kinda nice to spray on but, thats it.

I also tried the same spritz type tube that was for hands and feet, not sure what it done either!

Then the face mask, it was so greasy! I couldn't seem to get it off. The next day, my entire face broke out which I was sure came from this mask. I havent ever had breakouts like this and never in the areas where they came about. Needless to say, I will not buy this crap ever again! Also, I have yet to get my skin to clear up from that dang mask!

I do not recommend. Have you used it and got better results? Please let me know :)

I love hearing from yall!

My PeArL of the day - for a cleaner pedicure

I've been sick lately and under a lot of stress so today, I decided to give myself a much needed pedicure. While I was mixing my own nail polish to create a new color, I thought of my PeArL of the day...

Before you paint your nails, use olive oil, vegetable oil, or a great foot lotion (I use Gold Bond's ultimate healing, as I posted on previously) Use the oil or lotion thickly all over toes or nails, then you paint them. When you are finished painting nails, use your fingers to clean the polish up. The greasy texture of the oil or lotion will make it wipe right off instead of sticking and staining skin.

This keeps the polish from staining your skin around your nails and nail beds. You can spend hours on a pedicure only to have it ruined by polish that gets on the skin around your nails. And with the unsteady-ness of my hands, I had to find a fix for this!

I've used this solution for years and swear by it! Nothing cleans up a pedi better.

My PeArL of the day

Today, my PeArL of the day is...

Gold bond ultimate healing lotion is My PeArL of the day. I love this product! This is the best lotion I've yet to find. It's not greasy, or sticky or thick. I always have an issue finding good lotion that doesn't feel sticky and heavy on. And, the best thing about this stuff is you won't need to fork over $35 dollars for a pedi anymore! That's a huge plus. It works incredibly well on dry, cracked feet no matter how severe the condition!

Now, for my not-so PeArL-of the day:

People who promote a game where you torture and kill animals on their blog. That is disturbing and it got me irritated enough to blog about it. Why would we want our kids playing a game that teaches cruelty to animals. It just sickened me to see this blog. It actually said "everybody needs to play abc game. you go around killing animals and slaughtering them, it's so fun and it's hilarious!" They also wrote various ways you can torture the animals on the post but Im not posting that. But, seriously, what is hilarious or fun about being cruel to animals? But, hell, I still don't understand that one game where you have sex with hookers. Maybe it's just me that doesn't get into those things. I just think that's taking away from children when they play those games. It teaches wrong behavior and teaches zero morality.
