Auric Blends - Incense Seduction and Egyptian and Water Goddesses!

The lovely Auric Blends roll-on perfume oil pictured above is Water Goddess, a really nice, clean scent. Like many other Auric Blends fragrances, Water Goddess too is a scent that mixes so well with most people's skin. Water Goddess smells a lot like the name, water-y. This scent makes me picture a really pretty sparkling waterfall with tons of bright colored flowers all around. It's a truly beautiful scent. It smells so clean.

Although it's hard to make out, the photo above is of a little packet of Seduction incense by Auric Blends. Like their fragrances, their incense too are handcrafted and smell wondeful. Seduction was a nice scent and filled the room well. I burned it for only 20-30 minutes before the room and other areas of the house had a light hint of Seduction. It's a sweet, but not overpowering sweet scent. It's one of the prettiest incense I've smelled. I've grown very fond of Seduction and would love to have it in a perfume too! I liked the sweet and woody scent it put off. It was very attractive, nothing like a cigar which is what I find most incense to smell of.

Then there's the super popular top-seller Egyptian Goddess. Upon first seeing the bottle I judged it to be very grandma-ish. That's not very nice, but for some reason I always associate fragrances with gold on the bottle as granny perfume! I know, it's terrible of me. The good thing is, I don't ever pass a perfume off without first giving it a chance, or a sniff. Every perfume deserves at least that much, right?

To my surprise Egyptian Goddess, while having a light, very light musky scent to it, reminded me nothing of my granny Lucille - who by the way, actually tends to have good taste in perfume thank you very much.

I'm more of a sweet, floral kind of girl so Egyptian Goddess was new to me and while I was very attracted to the way it smelled on my skin, I was a bit nervous at first of others thinking differently. Fortunately, I haven't recieved any un-kind remarks about my new scent.

It took some getting used to. When wearing it the first several times, it'd catch my attention abrubtly, but I've really grown to enjoy this scent.

To me, it's a very warm, very slightly musky (nothing like White Diamonds if that's the picture you're getting) with woody notes, maybe sandal wood? Or maybe it's just my nose, but I do detect some kind of fresh wood scent in there. It's one of the most unique scents I've ever came across and I like that. One thing that makes it such a rare, but beautiful scent is the mixture of warm musk, something woodsy and floral notes all in one. This perfume really works the mixture. I couldn't imagine many scents with this type of mixture smelling good, but the sound of musk, wood, flowers and powder sound cheap to me. Egyptian Goddess never strikes me as a cheap smell when I sniff it. That's why I say it really works such a rare mixture of scents. If you're into musks, but don't like the overpowering strength of most musks, then Egyptian Goddess is so worth a try, especially at only $7.50!

My Pearl Of The Day Alabaster Queen, Shangri La & Offering perfume

Hello lovies, this is the next "series" of the Love Potion Majikal Perfumes. The first is the Alabaster Queen which has a beautiful story behind it. Again, I'll let you read that on your own on the site. To get there, just click the word "Alabaster Queen." Now, I'll get on to telling you all about this Alabaster Queen.

  "Magickal Meanings of Ingredients:

ALMOND and ALMOND MILK ~ Fertility, stamina, masculine energy, business success, money, prosperity, wisdom, intuition, insight, talisman for successful and fertile marriage.

HONEY ~ Enticing, seductive; use to bewitch a straying or hesitant lover. Happiness, fulfillment.

LEMON ~ Energizing, uplifting. Longevity, faithfulness, fidelity, friendship. Used to attract spirits.

BUTTERCREAM ~ Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships. Goddess energy.

VANILLA ~ Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing."

Upon the first sniff, I said I thought the Alabaster Queen smelled like "some sort of sweetness, honey I think." I was unsure until I looked at the ingredients. Anyways, this one really stuck with me. I really like this scent a lot. It's very sweet and the vanilla scent is apparent. I am a vanilla fan so this one will probably be a must have.

So far, I'm really liking the properties of the vanilla. Aphrodisiac, happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal. Those all have been present when I've worn this perfume. I love those! I love the playful part and the happiness. I've experienced a big sense of calm with each perfume so far and the BF said "I think that perfume makes you talk even more and even faster!" Lol. Maybe? I can say, this has been one of the most amazing experiences I've had.

I just love trying out these perfumes and seeing how my mood changes. Of course it's nothing dramatic like perhaps taking a xanax or being high. Lol But, it does give you a major mood change. I would say these have been mood enhancing for me and the BF. The perfume also effects those around you. Another thing I've noticed, people haven't been as angry around here lately! Lol. Weird, but very true. I'm beginning to wonder if it's the perfume. If so, I'll be wearing this stuff for the rest of my life! I am actually thinking about trying as many as I can. I'd like to at least make an order of 10 more when I've finished the ones I have. I'm just so fascinated by these!

                                              OFFERING

Offering is so far my favorite! I love the cute skull picture. Here's a little piece of the Offering description on the site: "...a scent to bring you good fortune, a touch of mystery, and to give those we miss their sweet due. This fragrance takes its’ inspiration from various traditions with a rich blend of global ingredients: crème sugar and vanilla whip, Mexican cinnamon, marigolds, light woods, copal and more, to honor the mysteries of the dead and acknowledge the gratitude of those who remain recall those departed, those loved, that they may continue to provide us their wisdom from beyond the veil - and a time to look forward toward a new season. ."

That is so fascinating to me. As most of you know, my partner and my aunt and mom and I do some orb hunting. We're our own little "club" and I've shared a lot of my our orb pictures from all over here on the blog. I guess my interest in that type of stuff is what draws me to Offering so much. Also, I'm really enjoying this scent at this time because my neice died at 19 days old several years ago. Her birthday is this Tuesday and we've been preparing to visit her little grave. I guess my mind's been on her & my grandfather who passed away because I'll be visiting his as well since he's buried right next to her. I would love to have "some wisdom from beyond the veil."

I can't quite figure out what Offering reminds me of, but it has a bit of a scent that reminds me of some kind of candy. It also has a little touch of a cherry flavored medicine I used to take as a kid for an upset stomach. I really like it. It's one hell of a unique "potion."

                                              SHANGRI LA

What the site says:  "Shangri-La was created as a secretive utopia where all live in happiness, and this beautifully exotic floral blend is the very essence of its mystery and harmony. The blossoms of freesia and night-blooming jasmine are further enhanced with a feminine fruity musk, chypre, and Indian floral attars. Sophisticated and gorgeous, this will entice anyone you wish to go in search of the promised idyll which only you can find."

FREESIA ~ Innocence, chastity, charm.

NIGHT BLOOMING JASMINE ~ Self confidence, anxiety reduction, prosperity; powerful love attractant, spiritual love.

MUSK ~ Self confidence and strength, sexual attractant, heightens passions and arousal.

CHYPRE ~ a blend of Civet, Ambergris, Oakmoss and Musk, it is considered a potently sexual combination with wealth drawing properties as well.

GOLDEN LOTUS ~ No man can refuse the woman who wears this; lovers reunited, protection. Symbolizes intellect, mental energies and illumination. Inspiration, clarity, purification.

AMBRETTE ~ Induces lust/lustful cravings, enhances beauty, attracts love, divination.

What draws me to the Shangri La is all of it's amazing "Majikal powers." As most of y'all know, I have a bad case of anxiety in which I started taking medication (light, nothing really mind altering) less than a year ago for. I also like the confidence that Shangri La gives. God know I need all the confidence I can get and not only in the looks department. I tend to lack confidence in myself in a lot of areas. Especially with what I can do. I love how boosting the Shangri La is! It's absolutely a must-have for every woman!

I also like the freesia that gives innocence and charm. The BF loves this one just as much as I do. I just wish I could explain the scent of this. It is so beautiful and really unique. I can't find words for it. I LOVE the scent. I think this will be another favorite. Heightens sexual arousal... yep! It will definitely be a fav!

Much love,

Magical Love potions and so much more!

                           LOVE POTION MAJIKAL PERFUME

I'm going to be introducing many of the different Majikcal Perfumes from Love Potion Perfume (each with different Majikal Qualities) here. In order to keep the posts from being confusing and extremely hefty, I'll introduce only a couple in each post. I hope you're looking forward to these "series" as much as I am! You are going to be blown away by these!

First, I'm introducing A Night At The Round Table perfume. I've used this one for the past 2 days now. It's a light frangrance, but can be applied a bit more heavily for your desired results. I liked the way this one (and most of them) reacted with my skin. It made a nice scent. In my opinion, it smells like vanilla with a tiny hint of licorice and a bit tobacco-y when sniffed closely. The BF says he thinks it smells like pure vanilla. He likes this one!

Now I'll talk about what this perfume does. I'll also tell you more about it's "Majikal Meanings of Ingredients"

The website states that it is known for it's potency - increasing and protective qualities and has a seductuve effect on men!

  The "Majikal Ingredients" include:

FENNEL - Healing, protection, purification, ecstasy, sexual potency.

SAFFRON -Love, beauty, happiness, lust. Purification, healing, clairvoyance.
GINGER - Fiery and fortifying, induces passion. Intensifies love spells and success spells. Love, money, success, power. Ginger increases sensitivity in the erogenous zones.
SUGAR - Attracts love, luck, sweetness and riches. Lust inducing.

Now, do those sound amazing or what? I have become really interested in all these cool ingredients and perfumes lately. I can say, I have never in my life smelled or known of such a unique and super cool thing ever! These perfumes and body scrub have absolutely blown my mind!

I can't yet say much about this perfume, but rest assured I will update as I continue using it. What I did notice though, was how peaceful I felt. I mean, I was strangely in a peaceful mind all day. I felt different than I normally do and I seemed to have a bit of a reaction toward my partner too. He sniffed my neck several times. I had an unusually fun attitude and after a while I was wondering why on earth am I in such a good mood & then I thought of the perfume! Lol. It sounds crazy, but I really did think the perfume contributed to my attitude.

I love the scents so far! I can guarantee there is nothing like these! I am still shocked with them. I've been carrying them around in my purse for days to make sure everyone I know smells them. Lol.

                                     THE SMOKIN' BUN

Now, I'll go ahead and talk about the Smokin' Bun perfume. Here is exactly what the website says about it. There's also a really cute story behind the Smokin' Bun perfume, but I'll let you visit the site to read that part.

"A whimsical delicious blend fit for the most discerning of rabbits (and their human friends): delightful marshmallow fluff and bittersweet chocolate are poured over buttery vanilla and thick buttercream topped with a drop of honey, then layered with rich sweet pipe tobacco and a whiff of aromatic woodsmoke."

The first time I smelled the Smokin' Bun, I said it smells very buttery with something sweet... maybe a cinnamon bun? I was pretty close with the butter and sweetness. I'm usually not one for the sweet food-y scents, but this one has been a great one! Definitely a keeper.

  "Magickal Meanings of Ingredients:

MARSHMALLOW: Fertility, happiness, creativity, increase in psychic awareness, intuition, love, protection, exorcism. Gently commanding and persuading.

BITTERSWEET CHOCOLATE ~ Lightens emotions, evokes feelings of love.

VANILLA ~ Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing.

BUTTER/CREAM ~ Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships. Goddess energy.

HONEY ~ Enticing, seductive; use to bewitch a straying or hesitant lover. Happiness, fulfillment.

NUT ~ Intuition, wisdom, protection, fertility.

TOBACCO ~ Healing, purification, spiritualism. An ode to the Gods.

SMOKE ~ In addition to the attributes of whatever is being burned (resins, woods, etc), smoke is for cleansing, purification, renewal, consecration, concealment and celebration.

I can say one thing's for sure, this perfume does work well at getting the male's attention! I noticed mine hanging a lot closer than normal. He said he did think his attention was more focused on me and even during my hour long talks! Lol. I know just what to use to get him to listen now! Ha Ha. It seems to have a powerful effect in the lust departmetn and my sister said she is sure of that!

Also, I did get a bit more relaxed than usual which I'm noticing has happened with both of the perfumes so far. I'm too excited to see what the rest of them do. I get so busy with everything that I forget I'm wearing the perfume and don't pay attention to the effects until I really notice something like the BF sniffing and hanging on me or the playful attitude. I had a much higher tolerance for the kiddies! I guess because I kind of was one when I was wearing it. Lol.

I'll leave you with those and will be posting as I use the perfumes. I hope you check back to see the rest! The next one is the most interesting (to me) Also, do check them out for yourself! They have men's perfumes as well. There's so many and they are so neat! I love them.

Crossing the line - what is & is not acceptable to say to someone in a serious relationship

CAN MEN AND WOMEN BE FRIENDS WHILE ONE IS IN A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP/MARRIAGE?

-WHAT IS AND IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS ALREADY IN A RELATIONSHIP? -

The question everyone asks these days is "can a man and woman remain friends and only friends without one or the other wanting more? What do you guys think? Can they?

Once upon a time, when I was young and felt that my male friends were more important than what they really were, I would've said sure, men and women can be friends and only friends. I knew better.

As most of my precious readers know, I've been in a serious relationship for what will be 5 years this month! (Woo-hoo!)

When we first started seeing each other, I had a lot of male friends. Throughout my entire life I have never had a male friend that did not express some kind of interest in me, even if it was only sexual.

I no longer have male friends. After we started getting serious, my male friends (except for one who had expressed feelings in the past, when I was single but we moved past it and remained friends.) refused to respect me and my relationships. One male friend who I'd went to church with my entire life ended up proposing to me a couple of years ago out of the blue. He never showed much interest in me like that before. He had said I was pretty, but nothing more.

That wasn't the only male church friend I'd grown up with who did this. There was another one who was a great friend until I became serious with my current BF. Then, he started crossing the line little by little. Finally, one day when I was extremely ill and unable to leave the bed, in and out of the hospital, etc. Him and his mother who I think of as my angel for helping me through my hospital times when the only other person who was there was my BF & dad. Anyways, her son  who I'd grown up with, close friends, went to church with sent me a text message that asked when I planned on leaving my current partner. He said he was tired of waiting on me and was angry! I didn't even know I had him waiting. We'd never talked about being together.

Of course the BF got the text and flipped, caused a huge fight. I ended the friendship. If he couldn't respect me anymore than that, he was no friend.

Besides that, I'm fine with no male friends. I don't want to be taken afvantage of like I used to be. I don't want to have men forcing themselves on me anymore. It got old, so I ditched them all.

Well, I usually make it clear to most men in my life that I'm in a happy MONOGAMOUS relationship and I don't put up with crossing the line and disrespecting me. It doesn't work.

The other night an old male friend started contacting me, he's got a live-in-girlfriend. Well, he crossed the line. I completely blew him off. He crossed the line again. I made myself clear.

If you have a "crush" on someone who is in a relationship (happy or not) you do not cross that line! If you feel you must express your dying love for them, then maybe do so subtly and suggest that you would like to be more than friends one day should anything happen and this person become available. Then, you leave it at that.

Almost in every situation, the person does not actually plan to leave just because you suddenly come along with an erection for them. They may eventually start giving in and telling you what you want to hear i.e. they aren't happy. But that's usually only because of the pressure being put on the person.

If you want to remain in the person's life, I suggest being their friend should be good enough at least until they are available and decide they want to start a new relationship. Do not EVER pressure a girl into leaving. It'll only make her go the opposite direction.

It's just so tacky and disrespectful to cross that line and nothing is tackier than doing it over and over. If you give her a nice compliment or just have to express your feelings, do it one time and leave it at that. If she decides to initiate anything, then let her do so on her terms only and definitely never engage in anything while she's still in the relationship whether she initiates it or not. Suggest she break it off with the other man first.

Sometimes you're just going to have to settle for friendship or nothing at all, because chances are, if she's in a happy relationship (with struggles or not) you'll end up losing her friendship all together if you continue to cross the line. Is friendship not ever good enough? It's better than being cut out of their life forever right?

Texting or calling someone who's in a relationship (especially when you are too!) more than once or twice a day is crossing the line.

Texting things like "Good morning beautiful" or "Goodnight, dream about me." IS crossing the line.

Texting things like "Send me a dirty pic." is beyond crossing the line and believe me, if the woman is anything like me, you'll regret that shit real quick.

I believe you know when you cross the line. If you have to ask if her "will your boyfriend be mad if I say..." or "Is your boyfriend around?" then it IS crossing the line.

I'm not saying you can't comliment a girl who's not single. Today, my BF and I went to a friend's really nice house and he had a few men that I've been around for years over. When I got out one of the men said "Who's that pretty little thang with you?" and the other said "Kendra, you're hair looks nice today." Which one do you think made me feel good? The hair comment!

When he told me my hair looked nice it made my day! As for the married bastard that said "who's that pretty little thang?" I didn't gain jack crap from that compliment. The hair comment was sweet and meaningful. Not that saying a girl is pretty is wrong, but there's a tasteful way to do  it. Now, if it's a dirty comment that involves the word sexy, I think it can come off as rude to say to someone in a relationship.

The reason I posted about this is because of recent happenings. It just makes me so angry that men just don't get it. I don't know why they have to cross that line. I'd really like to keep them as friends, but they make it impossible. There's no way I'm going to text someone who's texted me constantly for 3 days and questioning where I've been & why I was there so late when he has a girlfriend and I have a partner of my own. I mean, if you're unhappy in your relationship, I'm always glad to give help and I did that already, but I'm not willing to give myself. It took everything I had today not to say "Well, maybe your relationship would be interesting and fun if you weren't so busy texting me while your girlfriend sits home waitnig on you to just look in her direction."

So far, the only male friends I have are the ones that are friends with both me and my partner and a couple of them are really amazing people. Just please people, do not keep crossing the line!

When you cross the line once and she doesn't respond, take the hint. Don't make her cuss you out just to get you to stop.

Does any of my lovelies out there agree? Do you think there is a line that should not be crossed, at least no more than twice?

Horny Honey Cream

My Pearl Of The Day

Horny Honey Cream from Fascinations.

The lovely Horny Honey Cream arrived in a very discrete package. You don't ever have to worry with those matters when shopping with Fascinations.

The container has beautiful gold print and the screw on lid is gold as well. I thought it was really beautiful, strange since I am not a fan of gold. It looked so pretty though. I couldn't wait to try it, so try it I did. Right in the car!

I immediately noticed the major Horny Honey Cream when it was applied. It definitely gets things going, very quickly! I love it! It's perfect for getting straight to the good parts of foreplay instead of having to work for 20 minutes and then have the fun.

I'm not sure if the Horny Honey Cream is edible or not, but it doesn't taste at all. I wouldn't swallow it, but it didn't have a taste. It's rich and creamy and definitely beyond what I ever expected!

Horny Honey Cream is to be applied to both female or male parts. Apply it to the clitoris for immediate "swelling" and wow! For the male, you can apply it and rub down for tons of fun. The BF said he liked it as well.

It kind of has a slight cooling feel. To me if felt cool and I loved it, but I've heard it can give a warm sensation as well. I've used warming lubes before and some warming lubes can get extremely hot, but nothing I've used has the thrill that the Horny Honey Cream does. I've never cared much for lubes and arousal creams and didn't think I would really need them, but this one is certainly a Pearl for any body.

I just love the Horny Honey Cream. It makes everything so sensitive and every touch is intense, but not so much that it's intolerable. It's a wonderful cream! I could be in the worst mood ever and a little bit of this perks me right up! I actually think I'll be going for more of it soon, it has certainly gotten a lot of use!

With this cream, I don't think there would be a need for lube as it does a good job on it's on. It's a little thick and sticky after dried, but doesn't leave any kind of yucky residue. Just simply swiping with a wash cloth will take care of anything. There's really no need for showering just to get it off because it's not a messy cream. It stays exactly in place and it really lasts for quite a while! I would say it stays going pretty strong for at least an hour and with a little friction, it seems to activate the cream even more.

Horny Honey Cream from fascinations is perfect for anybody with any kind of sex drive. Heck, I thought mine couldn't get any higher and I sure was wrong. I just love this stuff!
