Spirit Spray! Spray on makeup

 This, my lovely kittens is the Spirit Spray, which is a spray-on makeup. Basically, it's like hairspray, only it goes on your face, but I suppose if you did want to color your hair for halloween, this could go there too. Spirit Spray can be found at Classifed Cosmetics as well as a wide variety of other unique, lovely aeresol and cosmetic items.


How to use Spirit Spray

 This simple-to-use, non-messy colorful makeup goes on by pressing the push button and holding it away a few inches from your face. However, for details like coloring the eyelids or specific designs on your skin, you can spray a little on paper and dip a Q-tip in for more precise application. 

Directions:

• Shake before use.
• Protect surroundings.  
• Aim nozzle where you want to apply, and hold 10" away from skin.
• Close eyes while spraying face!
• Use small circular and/or zig-zag movements for best, non splotchy application. Try both circular and zig-zag motions to find which best works for you. I personally done a little of both while applying a thick layer of white.

  These are what the Spirit Spray colors look like on skin. You can see there's a big pink spot on my arm -- Spirit Spray does not come in pink, but this smart little 13 year old of our's had the idea to mix white and red so I could get my favorite, pink! It worked and is a really lovely shade! I really love the bold royal blue. It looks so pretty.

  

 Special Features:

• Water and wear resistant.
• Removes with oil-based cleanser such as olive oil or any oil-based cleanser you have will suffice. I had a bit of blue stained skin leftover and tried a drugstore remover, but still felt like I had a blue tint, so I tried this Seabuckthorn Oil and whaddyaknow!? Gone like that. 
• Buildable, hypo-allergenic color.

  Unfortunately, I did not have time to do something nice and fun with this spray yet, and since I wanted to post about it here before halloween comes, I will just have to update you with photos of what I end up creating out of this neat stuff! I'm not very artistic, but I know this will prove to be loads of fun decorating faces with. It's definitely a must for halloween. 

  If you're planning to dress up or your kids will be for halloween, I highly recommend using Spirit Spray to add a more unique, personal touch to a costume. It's very different from your cheap halloween makeup palletes you get at the drugstore. This actually goes on smoothly and has a professional look to it! 

  If you're feeling super creative, you can use stencils to paint all sorts of designs on skin. 

  The uses are pretty endless since this Spirit Spray comes in a variety of colors, so its use is not limited to just halloween night. If your school colors happen to be white, red, black, green or blue, this would be loads of fun! You can use Spirit Spray to paint your (or your child's) school colors on their faces for football season. If you or your child plays sports, this spray definitely gives you something unique to work with in terms of showing your school spirit creatively! I actually thought about using this for the 13 year old's foot ball games too, but our school colors are maroon and gold and well, green, black, white, blue and red do not come close to that. 

Besides those couple of fun options, Spirit Spray is also fun for kids' parties -- face painting! Heck, even I like face painting. 

And since adults are just older lookin' kids, we can use Spirit Spray for halloween or our own fun as well. The Spirit Spray came with a lovely little brochure thingy that had a photos of someone's face very artistically done up. Just get creative, and you can come up with a lot of fun designs.

And, if you're idea is to be Jack Sparrow for Halloween, Spirit Spray will be a super easy method of applying a more detailed look. I have a friend who's considering being Jack Sparrow, and we plan to (try) and decorate him up with the black and white Spirit Spray! Very fun. I do look forward to that.

As shown in my photos, Spirit Spray comes in green, white, black, red and blue. All colors are very pigmented and go on nice and smooth, not runny and watery or too transparent, which will be very handy.

Also, the Spirit Spray, when sprayed directly onto skin, tends to splatter a little, so using a circular or the recommended zig-zag motions over the skin is helpful. 

What  I really love about Spirit Spray is how bold the color shows up and how awesome the application looks when dried! No worries about streaks and smears because this stuff dries really well. In fact, a good soap will be needed to fully remove a dark color like blue, but the fun you have with it is all worth a nice scrubbin'! 

Spirit Spray doesn't crack after the application has dried, and while it is a spray-on color makeup and caution should be taken not to get it all over your clothing, it does really well as far as messyness goes. I actually got brave and sprayed it while sitting on my bed and there wasn't any mist that fell onto clothing or the sheets. So it's not something you'll have to wear a hazmat suit for or put plastic all over your furniture. If you're a little messy by nature though, applying outside isn't a bad idea. You can always wear an old T-shirt and put down old towels where you're working (bathroom or bedroom floor, etc) to ensure no color gets on your belongings. Spirit Spray recommends even standing in the bath tub to apply, which would be a great idea.

The Spirit Spray is oil-free so it doesn't clog pores or leave you with a really shiny application. For the most part, the colors are matte when dried, not wet, oily or shiny looking, and so far, I've been able to leave small applications on my skin without it rubbing off onto my clothing.



My feelings on the Spirit Spray? Impressed. Excited! I am excited to really put this stuff to use on our faces, especially my lovely friends and the kids! I ain't a great artist, but we'll all just have to do some practicing on each other. It would be helpful if you have someone to help with fine details, but for the most part, this is totally simple to use. If you've applied eyeliner properly without huge disaster, you'll do fine with this! 

I'm really not 100% sure what "design" I'll choose to do with this. I have a few fun, creepy ones in mind, but I'll leave that to your imagination and update you when I do get time to paint everyone up and post photos. I like that you can use this without having world-renowned artists skills or having to spend tons of time reapplying. It's spray, so I find it's so much easier than using other makeups by hand. It seems this will allow for a few more mistakes without it totally ruining the look you're going for.

I've already posted about Lust Cosmetics and the wonderful Edible Body Oil, now I'm introducing you to the Luscious Body Lotion! This ain't your Bath & Body Works kind of lotion!

Now, I do love the scents from Bath and Body Works, but in my opinion, the performance of the lotions are, well, not good.

I am a picky lotion girl. I don't like the slightest residue left behind on my skin and the Luscious Body Lotion is a no residue left behind kind of lotion!

Luscious Body Lotion actually does leave me extremely velvety! I LOVE the stuff! I was really surprised at how highly moisturizing and velvety it is. I didn't expect so much from it. It smells nice and does have a perfume-y scent. Considering I'm super migraine prone, I only tested this on my arm before covering my body in it. After an hour of no problems, I went ahead and covered my legs and both arms. I get light whiffs of it when I move, but it's not a constant-in-your-face scent. I described the scent to smell a lot like Tommy Girl. I actually used to wear that perfume, but started getting headaches from it. The Luscious Body Lotion is a perfect way to add moisture, silky skin and a light perfume-y scent without using a strong perfume. If you're sensitive to perfumes like me, this is a perfect alternative! 

After minutes of applying Luscious Body Lotion, I sniffed my arm and the "dry down" turned very creamy on me. I couldn't smell the perfume as much which isn't bad since I was still able to smell it when I moved around. 

Luscious Body Lotion comes in a 30 ml bottle and contains 1 oz of product. The bottle is filled about 3 inches full. Thankfully a small drop goes a long way. A dime size will cover both arms and a little extra will cover my legs. 

The bottle is simple, a white twist cap bottle that requires a light squeeze to get the lotion out. The bottle has the words "Lady Lust and Lust For Body. Luscious Body Lotion" It has the tiny picture of a red lady in lingerie. It isn't trashy or littered with nasty images and wording. The tiny red lady looks cute, classy. No nudity and you can barely see her cartoon-ish little self so this would not be likely to offend. From a teen girl to grown woman, this would make a nice gift. 

The lotion is rich, there's not a hint of greasy-ness in it and my skin looks even younger and so fresh! It really changes the appearance of hands, arms and legs. It leaves them beautiful, soft and silky and lasts all day. I almost can't stop running my hands over my own legs! An outstanding lotion and how amazing that it's "all natural!" LOVE! 

Lust Cosmetics Edible Massage oil

Massage oils are ahh-mazing, but edible massage oils are even better. Lucky ole me has the Hot Caramel Cravings edible massage oils from Lust Cosmetics! 

The edible massage oils come in 4 flavors, Wanton Watermelon, Creamsicle, Hot Caramel Cravings and  Cherried Treasure. The Caramel Cravings is delicious and I liked it so much I plan to get Wanton Watermelon and Creamsicle to add to it! B, my love, loves orange creamsicle so that one would be a nice way to get a massage!

I've used a handful of warming oils and lubricants and love the sensations, but have a hard time finding one that has a lot to offer. Lust Cosmetics has an outstanding line of Edible Massage Oils! My favorite warming product to use for massage and such has been the watermelon flavor from Wet for years, but I believe I love Lust Cosmetics' line just as much!

A hot caramel massage is the best! 

When it arrived I had to taste it. I licked a small amount off of my hand and felt a slightly warm sensation with a sweet taste on my tongue.  My partner and I are quite impressed with the taste. It isn't terribly sweet and over powering, but just light enough to be tasted when licked or kissed.

If you've ever used edible oils you may have noticed some leave a nasty taste in the mouth. In fact, most of them do. The Hot Caramel Cravings didn't leave any taste behind, even with a lot of licks and kisses! 

After we tasted a little from the bottle we had to use it. I was the lucky masagee and B was the massager!  A few drops covered my entire back. The clear, lightly flavored oil warms on touch and when he rubbed I could feel a slight warming sensation. It's not intense, not something you'd experience from a heating pad, but it does warm when rubbed. After a few minutes of rubbing it felt sticky and instead of gliding, his hands would drag uncomfortably across my skin. We needed to add several more drops of the Edible Massage oil to continue. 

After the second application I was able to smell it better. It isn't an intense scent, thankfully. But it's light and does smell like caramel. I like the light scent. If you're like me and are sensitive to smells, prone to migraines, this is safe! No worries with the scent becoming a bother. It's just enough to give you a sweet scent. 

When my partner kissed my back the warmth was really noticeable and when he blew on it, closely, it felt wonderful! Blowing on the skin up close seems to really activate the warming. 

The texture is somewhat thick and oily since it is an oil. It's not as thick as vegetable oil and not half as greasy. It does leave some drag and stickyness to the skin, but not terribly. I showered afterwards to keep from getting my bed sticky, but it does absorb into the skin well and quickly. It won't stain clothing or sheets and isn't irritating. After B had covered my back, rear end, chest and stomach, it was absorbed and left my skin extremely soft! I noticed it right away. It looked moisturized and firm. 

Before I showered, I used a warm wet cloth to wipe some off and was surprised at how easy it came off. I worried that it may stay on my skin kind of like vegetable oil would, but it washed off very well. If your entire body is covered like mine was, a quick rinse in the shower is best to make sure it is off, but a wash cloth will take care of a small area.

After showering my skin was still super soft. 

The Edible Massage Oil comes in a 30 ml pump bottle for easy application. The good thing is, the bottle can be laid on the bed beside you without any leaking! The pump makes it super easy to use and really comes in handy when you're hands are slippery and you need to apply more. 

The warming sensation and light sweet scent makes this a perfect massage oil for de-stressing and for a night alone with your partner. We loved using it.

The ingredients in Hot Caramel Cravings as listed on bottle are:

Glycerin, flavor, potassium sorbate,  sodium benzoate.

I'm not sure if that's all the ingredients or not, but I didn't find any of them irritating, only very soothing. I wouldn't recommend using this as a lubricant though, it is a massage oil. It may be ok to use, but it does contain glycerin which can cause yeast infection for those who are prone to them. The ingredient glycerin doesn't usually bother me, but this may also include some sort of sweetener like sugar? Sugar is a major cause of a yeast infection! Sugar should not go near the vagina unless you want to risk that. 

So, for an Edible Massage Oil, it is amazing! The scent, the taste, the texture, just  perfect. It doesn't glide 100% perfectly after a few minutes, but a little extra is all it takes. 

Lust Cosmetics have a beautiful selection of products for a romantic "encounter" or even for solo time. From perfumey lotion to arousing mist to edible oils, they're products are all so intriguing... and delicious! Check them out! 

Also, as you can see in the photo at the top, Lust Cosmetics' packaging is very tasteful, discrete and nice enough for gift giving! I've already been getting ideas for that. I love giving sensual gifts to the special ladies in my life, but it's hard to find any that don't have crude or trashy or just down right disgusting wording and photos all over the packaging. Lust Cosmetics is just perfect! There is a tiny lady in red print with her knees slightly bent. She appears to be wearing lingerie, but it's very tastefully done. Nothing that would scream "SHE USES ME FOR SEX!" Lol. The package may say "edbible massage oil" or "arousing mist" but that's as far as it goes and really nobody would think much of those words, unless you happen to be shopping for grandma! LOL. These product, I don't mind leaving out on my dresser, in the open. I slide the arousing mist behind the massage oil, but they don't draw attention in a sexual way.

Lovely Prism Pigments eyeshadow "Unicorn"

I have one heck of an eye shadow to brag on here. I'll let the picture do the talking first...

The Unicorn eyeshadow is the purple one. First one from the left. Beautiful isn't it? The other colors are gorgeous as well! The white is the amazing, miracle working Rice Powder!

This is the Fortune Teller (The blue color)

 The first picture  really captured the Unicorn eyeshadow from Prism Pigments better than my other pics. For some reason, my camera was not really capturing the color well at all. It's actually a very light, shimmer purple color called "Unicorn."

  It's such a gorgeous eye shadow, I hate that it didn't show how bold it really is. In some light it does look silver as well and that's beautiful!

 Like I said this eyeshadow is from Prism Pigments. They're shadows are so light. You can't feel them on your eye lids, even if you do cake it on. It's a wonderful color and product.

  I loved the colors. I also have a yellow, and a few more that I'll show. I think so far, the Unicorn is my favorite.

  I was really loving that the shimmer eye shadow didn't get all over my face. I have a huge problem with keeping it only on the lids. I guess the Prism Pigment shadows are so light and airy that they don't clump up and fall onto your face.

  You can swipe a little across your lids for a light color or you can swipe a couple of times for more bold-ness. I'm more of a bold color kind of girl so I usually have to pack it on. With the Prism Pigments, no caking was necessary as it goes on very well!

  These shadows are certainly unique and unlike any I've ever used. I loved how soft they were and I really loved the Rice Powder (I posted on previously.) That stuff is truly a miracle! It works great if you swipe across your lids before applying the Prism Pigment shadows and keeps it from running or creasing. Even without using the Rice Powder first, the eyeshadow didn't smudge, run, or all gather in the creases at all. I even kept it on over night and woke up the next morning with it still perfectly in place! These are most definitely a top choice for me now.

Overall, I'd give them a 10. No con's that I've picked up on. They're all so pretty.

A Miessence PeArL

My Pearl of the day…

I have the lip creme on here! Pretty color huh?

I loved this simple little lip tint. It’s so beautiful! I normally don’t wear much lip color, but I’m a fan of Miessence’s Plum Lip Crème. It has a beautiful, but subtle tint of plum. It’s not the regular tinted chapstick, this stuff reminded me of powdered sugar when I swiped my finger across the Lip Crème.

When I put it on my lips it felt great & doesn’t smudge at all. It just gives your lips a healthy, subtle color & I honestly didn’t realize how dull mine were until I put the Lip Creme on!

In the photo, you can kind of see how the texture is on my finger. I loved that! It’s certainly unique. Unlike any lip colors, creams, or tints I’ve ever used. I’m really crazy about this stuff. I actually am wearing it now!

It doesn’t have a strong scent like lipsticks do and it didn’t leave my lips feeling dry. It also doesn’t seem to have a taste which is good because I tend to stay away from strong tasting lip stuff. This precious little pearl stays on well without the need to constantly re-apply. It leaves a really nice color lingering on your lips for quite a while.

Absolutely perfect! I love it. Couldn’t find a single con.

  Packed with fruit extracts and some of the most wonderful, tropical scents, Hawaiian Body Products has some excellent products.

This is a photo of some of the Hawaiian Body products, I will be posting a review for the rest soon so keep an eye out!

  Over the last couple of days, I've been so eager to try the entire contents of my sample kit from Hawaiian Body Products. So far I've gotten to several, but not all. The first Hawaiian Body product that won my heart is the Coconut Lemongrass Cane Sugar Scrub.

  I'm a fan of sugar scrubs, if the product is very well made. I have to admit, in my searching, I've only found 3 sugar scrubs that met my over the top standards. If I'm going to scrub myself with it, it might as well be the best, right?

  Now that the Coconut Lemongrass Cane Sugar Scrub is my #1 top favorite, there will be room for no other. This one totally blew the rest out of the water by a long shot!

  With it's tropical, clean scent, the scrub made me feel just like I was on the beach! It has the most beautiful scent and feels oh so good on my skin.

  This body scrub contains tropical butters, coconut milk, organic local honey, hawaiian cane sugar. It all smells so beautiful!

  It's the perfect texture, rough enough, but not so rough that it irritates or makes your skin raw. I have a slight redness, bumpy texture on my upper arms after going so long with no sun and it's nearly impossible to clear that up without tanning, but with a gentle rubbing of the Coconut Lemongrass Cane Sugar Scrub, it was completely gone! It has stayed gone too, which does matter.

  Unlike most scrubs, I didn't have to apply a whole lot of pressure just to get scrubbed and exfoliated. I really love this scrub! It's so nice.

  Like the Coconut Lemongrass bath soak, it leaves your skin so smooth. The lemograss and coconut scent really complimented each other well. With the coconut giving the tropical feel and lemongrass giving an energetic feel.

  I felt so soft after using the Scrub and Bath Soak.

PROS:
1. Smells so amazing. Really made such a wonderful bath!
2. Ingredients are vegan.
3. Not tested on animals.
4. Contains natural ingredients such as fruit extracts, etc.
5. Doesn't dry out skin.
6. Hydrating.
7. Leaves a slight glow to skin.
8. Isn't greasy/won't clog razor.
9. It doesn't irritate or scratch skin.
10. Soothed and took away redness.
11. Rejuvenates skin (awesomely!)
12. Exfoliates very well!

Combination-post. Update, & my tip of the day HINT: nipples & tanning!

Hay there my gorgeous sparklies! Just thought I'd let ya in on what's going on  lately because it may be a minute before I get the next post up. I hurt my back. :( very bad today. No clue what I done, but it's killing me. It hurts to move, to breathe, etc. I'm not sure if it was from walking in the un-level yard with heels or what. I had a little pain there earlier but it was nothing. Not even enough to be irritating at all. I've cleaned like crazy this week while we're STILL remodelling. I went to the tanning bed, then to eat & a few other stops on the way home & when I made it to my front door I couldn't go any further!

I just had to stop. Couldn't even open the door! It was just really sudden and excruciating!

 By the time I made it inside I couldn't even get the heels off without groaning like a granny! lol And these heels are not tall at all. I don't wear them when I'm going to be doing a lot of standing or walking. I'm always careful with them. Now it's been several hours, well it started around 9:45 and it's now 5:30 AM & still killing me. I'm only 2o years old so it's not old age!

Speaking of age, I'll be... (gulp) 21 the 26th of this month & I've never dreaded a birthday like I am this one. I only wanted to stay 20. 21 is not special, it's scary as hell! Hopefully it'll be a great one though & I won't even worry about getting old.

 Anyways, I thought I'd show you pics of some of the orders that came in this month! (Look above at the very top.) These are the designs I made & sold! Whoo-hoo! I sure could use my helpers though & are they anywhere to be found when the orders start coming in? No! lol. I'm thinking of finding new people to help out.

*You can't really see the 2nd one very good. I only posted one instead of a full set because the rest weren't made at the time, but it's a really pretty pink & blue. They're so bright I hate that my camera doesn't show very good. I can't figure out how to get it set to show up good. 

                       MY TIP FOR TODAY:
Tanning... Ya'll who are so kind enough to keep up with my crazy blog know by now about my tanning. Well once before I posted a weird-o little tip that I came up with while tanning. Ya know how you get all peel-y and things kind of crack and peel and dry up? lol Ok, I'm talking about nipples. Don't act like I'm the only one who's had this happen either. lol

  Well, I hated how the tanning would cause that & I don't really care to have a nipple tan, so I kinda wanted to use something that protected some parts & kept them from peeling at the same time. So while I was laying there digging through my purse I figure since chap stick works for your lips, it must for nipples too. I decided to use chap stick! Lol. It worked too!

 I've been using it ever since. Before I tan and after. Lotion just doesn't seem to help that part but I can thank Burt's Bee's and Soft Lips for their chap stick which I turned into nipple stick! haha lol.

Anyways tell me what ya think about these designs! I didn't have time to upload all the pics of the ones we had ordered this week, let me know if you want to see. I just finished one set tonight & it's one of my fav's! I love the black & blue too.

Good-night (well good morning to most of you.) for now. I had to take a short break while typing to run for a shower while my back wasn't hurting as bad. I couldn't just skip showering after sweating in the tanning bed. Now that you know about my sweat I should probably go before I reveal too much more! lol

Like skin, feet absorb what they come into contact with. So when you're slathering harmful chemicals all over your tootsies, those chemicals are actually being absorbed through your feet. This might pose serious problems to your overall health because foot care products often contain harmful ingredients like parabens. Even the "fragrances" commonly found in all sorts of skincare products can be harmful. Some of the "fragrances" listed on the ingredient label in skincare products contain hormone disruptors.

Since I'm on a personal mission to live a happier, healthier life, I try to avoid using cosmetic products, including pedicure products, that may contribute to health problems. I've actually had some luck with a more natural-based pedicure product line and have since stopped using my foot creams and soaks that were full of questionable chemicals and replaced them with this little pedicure kit by Gena.

I'm not sure who Gena is, but she makes my feet very happy. 


There are two main reasons that I love Gena's Pedi Care kit: 

  1. The products contain natural, effective ingredients like tea tree oil to exfoliate, refreshen, and soothe your feet.

2. The results (soft, silky, soothed, clean tootsies) make this pedicure worth putting aside extra time for.

The Pedi Care Sloughing lotion with peppermint oil is great for removing dead skin and the peppermint oil soothes and relaxes the tension in your tootsies. The best part is how soft this leaves your feet.
 

The sloughing lotion works on your feet the way an exfoliating facial scrub works on your face. You just massage into your feet. As you rub you can actually see the dead skin rolling off! I know, sounds gross, but that's what fascinates me the most.  If you don't like the feel of dead foot skin on your hands, you can use a wash cloth or foot scrubbing brush, which work just as well.

The  Pedi Soft Foot And Leg Lotion with natural botanicals and fruit acids also helps remove the rough, dry skin from your feet and legs.

I have to say, I didn't exactly love the smell, but it's not terrible. No worse than most pedi products. The thing I love most about this lotion is you can warm it up and it feels wonderful on cold feet. Even better if you have someone who's willing to rub the warm lotion on your feet for you!

The Pedi Soak Foot Bath cleanses, relaxes and refreshens feet. My favorite part about this foot soak is that it contains tea tree oil, a natural anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. Tea tree oil has many medicinal uses and is used to treat a variety of skin ailments, but it's also a powerful fungus killer. In other words, if your feet tend to have an ... aroma, then this is going to be your best friend.

The foot gel relieves achy, tired feet. (this little guy isn't pictured because I seem to have misplaced it before I began taking photos.) The cooling gel is the perfect ending to a fresh pedicure.

Then there's the Pedi Septic Foot Spray with eucalyptus, menthol and tea tree oil. This basically adds even more protection from the pungent aroma your tired, achy, sweaty feet can develop. The menthol is cooling and it works to relax the muscles in your feet while tea tree oil, again, kills fungus and odor.

Overall, this pedicure line has the basics covered and is worth the price.

eye shadow & bad hair

Bright metallic purple eye shadow! I love bright eye shadow and yes, sometimes I tend to over-do it lol. I find a way to fit this purple shadow & the green into my "beauty routine" once a week. They're the best colors, go on great! And I know you're thinking WTF DID SHE DO TO HER HAIR?! I WONDER IF SHE KNOWS HOW TERRIBLE IT LOOKS! Yes, I know! lol I had a horrific experience a couple of weeks ago at the salon. My hair stylist quit & I let this other girl do it & she totally jacked it up! She actually told me that she "hated my hair cut & would talk anybody out of it." All I needed was the back trimmed a half inch and she took the entire right side of my hair, picked it up & chopped about 3 inches from my scalp! So every bit of my hair on that side is only about 3 inches long. Then thank God I had those little strands that hide behind your ear tucked behind so she didn't get those & that's the little hairs you see that are actually kinda long.

Anyways, she kept bitching while cutting about how she hated my hair style/cut I explained that I didn't care & it got worse. She had already f'd it up, but I wasn't in front of the mirror (probably for a reason. I should've known when she turned the chair to face away from the mirror) so I didn't see how bad it was til she was done.

It was a lot worse than this. Seriously I had a mullet! I swear! And I stood up, looked in the mirror & went totally speechless. She walked to the register & I stood there in front of the mirror, mouth wide open. I tried to be quiet & not cry right there, but it had to be fixed. I NEVER speak up. I mean I just don't do it. But my facial expression gave it away so badly. She said with a blood red face, "Is something wrong?"

I said "Uh... no... Well, I hate to ask this & I'm so sorry, but you didn't trim the back & that's all I asked for. I'm sorry." That's not all that was wrong, my hair was awful & I couldn't tell her.

She was pissed. She didn't expect me to speak up probably because my B/F was with me & he has to tell people that I'm quiet & don't say what I really want. lol So he told her that so she'd know. 

 So she trimmed the back.

I kept holding tears back. I was shaking so bad.

Then she asked for the money. I stood staring in the mirror again & my b/f says "Oh my gosh! Are you OK? Do you like it?"

I said "Uh.. yea. Let's just go." But he knows me far too well.

b/f: "No! Were not going. I know you don't like it... Please don't cry. We'll fix it."

By this time, the girl was coming back to find out why I was still standing there.

I replied to b/f: "It's fine, it's just because my bangs were screwed up so it looks weird."

So clear that I was  lying. The girl kept asking to get paid so finally I jerked the 15.00 ($15 for a half inch off only the back of my hair. Usually only costs around 8-9) out of my purse & said here take it and started crying.

 I went to walk out when I heard "You made her cry! You knew she asked you to please not touch any hair but the very back. If it were up to me, you wouldn't get paid shit!"

Yes, the b/f actually said this to the girl!

So I ran out & had to walk through wal-mart like this b/c the salon is inside. I was humiliated. I kept my hands over it. When we got out the doors, an older woman was standing there ringing the bell for donations & she said "Oh sweetie! What happened to you?"

I said, at this point squalling "The girl cut my hair I only asked for a half inch off the back. I don't know what to do. It's awful isn't it?"

She was full of sympathy. Poor lady. She was precious & made my day. She went on & on trying to make me feel better, but admitted that "it was the worst cut she'd seen. Did a pro actually do that?"

We talked for a while & tried figuring out something I could do to fix it & she said I should go back inside & get money back. My tears were turning to icicles on my cheeks which made it even more humiliating.

The b/f is calling hair stylists & digging for change to give the sweet door bell ringer at 8PM standing outside wal-mart.

"Here! I found a dollar! You can have it," I said digging a dollar from my pocket. Then I ran off to the car. The sweet lady kept b/f behind talking about how to fix my hair.

20 minutes later, he returns to the car with my money. I was so thankful! That $15 was needed elsewhere. The sweet lady had told him to go back & get my money. I love that lady. So I felt better, but it didn't fix the crisis & believe me, had you seen it, you'd call it a crisis too.

So we sped to maxx & mia. They told me there was nothing I could do unless I wanted extensions. To me, that sounded like a lot of trouble & plus they're prices START at $28.00 & that's very high for only a trim.

So I decided I'd do the very best I could & dye it to try & blend it. I've finally found a tiny fix & it takes forever, but I have to style it for hours to hide the mullet/chili bowl.

Next day. I had to make a complaint with whoever is over that salon & I called another employee there that I know. She informed me that "the little bitch" called the police and made a report stating that I was in a gang and threatened to shoot her & a whole bunch of other crazy stuff! I was really shocked. The girl told me that the one who'd cut my hair has had a complain each time she's cut a person's hair. (She's new.) Why they didn't fire her for getting those complaints is beyond me.

I am not in a gang. I have never touched a gun in my life & wouldn't know how to threaten to shoot someone, much less know how to actually shoot! lol I mean seriously, do I seem like someone who's in a gang & shoots people who mess up my hair? No, I just hand over the money & cry! lol

Anyways, I don't know really how I got off on this story. Honestly I only planned to talk about eye shadow, but seeing my pic brought back the memory. lol Sorry.
