When all else fails, go purple! Seriously, purple looks good on everybody!
When all else fails, go purple!
...And then smile kind of like you just did something bad. Real bad. Or if you're like me, your bad-girl smile will just make you look as if you just ate shrooms!
And this last one, I just had to add because: look at the little orb by my head! If you look at one of my first pics up there, you can see a huge orb near my legs.
No, my hand was so not where you think it was!
I'm not sure if I've told ya'll this before or not, but I actually bought this adorable little dress about a year ago for $5! Yep, that's me. I can always, always find good deals! It's my spiritual gift, finding amazing deals on adorable things. :)

Tie Dyed Leggings from Stocking Store
Yes that's me in the photo wearing adorable, funky leggings! These are not the kind of leggings you see everyday and after spending longer than a year on the hunt for some really bright, unique leggings, I can say these are not easy to find! Even online it's hard to find really unique leggings. While I adore body stockings and funky printed panty hose, it was really hard to find colored leggings as neat as these. I actually found these at Stocking Store.com.
Stocking Store.com has about any legging, tight, panty hose, garter belt and ectetera that you might need. You could actually shop for your entire lingerie and hosiery wardrobe in one there. How awesome is that? Even better, they have a great selection of everyday hosiery as well as a nice collection of unique and spicy hosiery for those days (or nights!) when you want something bold.
Yes, these lovely purple tie dye leggings are wonderful! Not only do they look so neat, they fit wonderfully too. Wanna know just how comfortable these guys are? Well, I can say they're comfortable enough to lounge in for two days after a wisdom tooth extraction! Yep, I finally got that awful tooth extracted, the one that caused me so much pain that I stood on my hands for ten minutes a day over! I can now say that a really nasty toothache can truly be the worst physical pain. I dealt with mine for nearly 6 months and the past few weeks it got so painful I thought I would have a heart attack. No kidding. Now, back to these awesome leggings...
Oh, you're probably saying "oh my God! She wore those leggings for 2 days straight. EW!" Ha. Ha. No. I actually wore the purple ones today and the pink tie die leggings yesterday! Ha. These come in pink too! Two days in a row of the hottest leggings ever. Let me ask you something. Have you worn tie dyed leggings? That's what I thought, but if you're dying to have a pair as much as I was, you'll find them at Stocking Store!
These are bold and funky and they add a really nice bit of personality to a boring skirt. Those cute blue jean skirts that everybody has look amazing with these leggings and the really great part is you won't be running around looking like everybody else with your everyday legs! Lol. They also add a colorful touch to the plain LBD (Little Black Dress) that again, every female has. I have another pair of leggings from the Stocking Store and I can't wait to tell you about them. They are out of this world! Anyways, I won't give it away just yet, but they're bold and colorful and I paired them with a regular black dress and they looked amazing. The tie dyed leggings are beautiful with the black dresses too!
And if you just happen to be the kind of girl who doesn't wear dresses or skirts, I'm sure you have a pair of jeans with way too many holes in them to wear in public. Slip the funky leggings under the jeans and bam! Instead of showing your rear through all those holes, you'll be showing sexy pink (or purple) tie die! These make the old pair of jeans wearable again and they'll add some fun.
About the fit
I'm the kind of girl who hates wearing jeans. They're uncomfortable and boring. I prefer wearing dresses. They're more fun and far more comfortable! However, during the cold winter months, it's not always possible to wear a dress... unless you have some leggings! I've been wearing my regular fleece lined black leggings all winter and they're comfortable and much better than jeans everyday, but they get boring. It's always nice to be able to change your entire outfit by throwing in a simple pair of tights or leggings and it's much cheaper than going out and buying a whole new outfit!
Oh, what I was getting at up there was, leggings are more fun and comfortable than jeans, but some can cut into your waist and be a pain! The tie dyed leggings just so happen to be very comfortable. They aren't super thick, but are thicker than your average pair of panty hose. They're also more durable, you won't get runs as easily. You can trust me on that last statement! I had awful nails that needed filing and I snagged them on the leggings all day long and still have no runs thank God! They're going to last as long as you take care of them. They won't snag as easily as regular hose, but that doesn't mean they'll withstand abuse. They should be treated with care and hand washing is going to keep these babies around longer than machine washing.
With leggings these comfortable, I never want to take them off. They're comfortable enough to sleep in! No digging into your waist and leaving those dreadful lines in your skin. They're opaque too! You can't see straight through them, but if I'm standing in the light, my rear shows a little because they're tight back there. Everywhere else though, is totally opaque. I'm very impressed! The color is bold just like the photos at Stocking Store.com show. No surprises, you get what you order and it gets to you quickly!
Remember to check out the other items at Stocking Store! They carry lingerie such as corsets, panties, garter belts, bras, and of course all your hosiery, stocking and leggings needs! I have to give kudos to Stocking Store.com. I'm very satisfied with everything I've gotten from the store and it's all very good quality, durable and great prices!
While wearing the tie dyed leggings, I had a few compliments before I ever even left the house in them! A few friends and family came by to see me and saw the leggings and loved them. Before they left, they were asking me where I got them. So these are certainly a big hit! I'll be posting about the other adorable leggings as well so keep your eyes peeled for that! They're awesome!

My Pearl Of The Day
![]() |
| Just ignore the funky cami, shorts and painted thighs! Lol |
The gorgeous lavendar colored swim suit with a hint of shimmer, lined with neon pink ruffling is one heck of a cute swim suit! I love the pretty colors.
Like the other Malibu Strings suits, this too is a fantastic suit. It has a string bikini style top and "lettuce" bottoms.
I just arrived home from Panama 2 days ago and I was dying to get a review up on this particular swim suit. I loved every second of wearing this baby! I'm very fond of the cute purple top with neon pink ruffling and I was happy that it provided enough coverage, especially being that I was on vacation with family and the kids. I had a terrific time and felt awesome in my Malibu Strings!
The bottoms are adorable and fit wonderfully, but they're more like thongs. I love the bold swimwear from Malibu Strings and to be honest, their bikinis are the best I've ever owned in style, fit and cut, but I try to keep my super skimpy suits for our own pool and not in public. However, with a swim suit this cute I couldn't resist!
I did end up pairing the top with a pair of neon pink swim suit bottoms for the beach since we had the kids with us. I wanted to kick myself for not being able to wear the bottoms during the trip though. They fit so well and look awesome.
In the photo above you can closely see the ruffle details. The triangle cups are adjustable like most. You can stretch them out at the bottom to widen and scrunch them up to make them narrow. There's no underwire or padding, which isn't a problem at all. The ruffles provide enough texture so there's no nipples showing through.
In the above photo you get a better look at the bottoms. They're lavendar with shimmer and a neon pink lettuce edge. This photo is actually the back of the bottoms, not the front! Lol. The bottoms have the scrunch back. Very sexy, but not appropriate for every occasion. Still, these will get plenty of use at our pool! So far it's held up well and kept it's shape and color through lots of swimming, chlorine, hot-tubbing, sand and salty beach water!
To wash:
As usual, this suit should be handwashed to keep it in it's best health. Do not iron, bleach or put in the dryer.
I have now found swimwear that fits my personality! I absolute adore the swim wear from Malibu Strings. I've never seen anything like the style and colors they offer. In one word: stunning!

Malibu Strings metallic purple scrunch bikini
The stunning metallic purple Malibu Strings swim suit is my absolute faorie swim suit ever! It's so unique and well fitting on my petite frame.
Malibu String's suits are unique and funky and bold and while there's tons of gorgeous prints, styles and cuts to choose from, this specific one is certainly not for someone who's looking to blend in. It's bright. It's bold. It's sexy and it stands out. Just the kind of suit I love!
I have a love for swim wear, but it's hard to find a suit that flatters my figure and even harder to find one that fits my crazy style. I seen a metallic purple colored swim suit about 7 years ago on vacation and have searched my booty off to find one and only recently did I come across one of that color and I could've cried I was so happy! (I really wanted this swim suit!)
I'm sure many of you ladies have heard the saying shiny fabrics make draw attention to your middle and are always unflattering. I beg to differ. I personally couldn't love this Malibu Strings bikini more.
With the "scrunch back" bottoms, these are a cheeky fit. When I say cheeky, I mean they show quite a bit of cheek. They cover a good amount for someone like me with such a tiny be-hiney, but they do show some cheek. I love the scrunch back because I have such a small booty and narrow hips which makes it hard to get a swim suit bottom to fit well without sagging. The suit fit absolutely wonderfully!
The bikini top has little coverage and while the triangle cups are adjustable, they only cover so much. The top has no extra support like underwire and it is not padded at all. I love everything about the swim suit, but if you absolutely must have padding you can easily sew some on the back side of the cups.
The top ties both behind the neck, halter style and around the back. To adjust for a wider coverage the cups can be pulled to widen. To make a narrow fit, less coverage you simply scrunch them. This is no different from a regular string bikini's adjusting, only with less coverage and far better looking!
The top has narrow cups as it is for less coverage so a medium was good for me, I usually wear a small or medium top. The medium top will cover an A-B size, but probably not a C or higher.
Suit's Hardware:
To add to the beauty of this suit, there's 2 tiny metal circles below right at the top of the triangle cups. Most of Malibu Strings swimwear have little metal hardware on them. I think it's lovely!
The purple metallic swimsuit is made of a comfortable material that has so far held up nicely. I don't see it getting those cracks in it like some made of this material. I'm not exactly sure what the material is, but it seems to be a lame/spandex material.
Swimwear should be handwashed for keeping in it's best shape. Washing in the washing machine should be avoided and I would not put this swim suit in the machine. I hand wash mine and it's worked out fine. Do not dry, iron or bleach! To dry, let it hang out to air dry. A good place for drying your suits is in the shower. I hang mine from my soap and shampoo holder/basket thingy.

MYTHICAL APPAREL
The Enchantress Burn-out tee! Love this baby!
Have any of you lovies heard of or shopped from Mythical Apparel?
In the photo, I'm wearing Mythical Apparel's lovely and very unique Enchantress Burn-out tee. I think it's just stunning! The top is very flattering for any body type. It's a white burn-out tee so you can see through it (hint: the neon pink bra! Lol) I thought about putting a cami underneath it, but I thought hey, why not be different! lol Plus, the neon pink bra looked nice with Enchantress going down the side in purple.
I just love this shirt and can't seem to take it off! It's definitely gotten a lot of wear! Hay, don't judge. There ain't nothin' wrong with a little extra wear, especially if you really love it!
It went perfectly with my super bold purple eyeshadow. I couldn't resist. I get an itch to wear my purple eyeshadow very often, but I rarely have anything it would look nice with so the Enchantress Burn Out tee is always my first pick when it's clean... or not so clean! Ha. Ha.
I love how unique the shirt is. It's not something you see often. It's got what seems to be the paisley-looking design throughout it. I got a lot of compliments wearing this shirt!
And guys, before you decide to stop reading I will go ahead and say, Mythical Apparel DOES have a men's section too! So, if you are going to stop reading, make sure you're headed on over to check them out.
The word Enchantress is spelled out beautifully down the side of the shirt. It's very lovely. Something about it stands out from my regular shirts. The purple "Enchantress" is much bolder in color than it shows in the photo. *In the picture above was my first day of hamster sitting, hence the cage I'm in front of. I fell in love twice that day. With the cute shirt and with hammy! My sister ended up giving him to me after a month of sitting! Yay! A cute top and a hamster! That'll make a girl's day! lol
You can also find the Enchantress top in black or with white text instead of purple.
It's a very comfortable top, not one that I have to pull and tug at. The V-neck is flattering and the material of the shirt is light weight. While it's fitted, it's not the type of shirt that glues to your curves.
Mythical Apparel has the yoga pants to match the top as well! They're a nice stretchy material that you can wear with the top or without it. They're perfect for exercise, but also look nice for other wear besides athletic.
Like I said, this shirt has already gotten quite a bit of wear out of it, and so far it's held up extremely well especially considering it's very thin. I don't see it falling apart or mysteriously getting holes all in it like some major T-shirt companies. I'm very satisfied with the quality, look and feel! I was pretty surprised that it's showing great signs of holding up, most shirts that are even slightly thin have very little wear. This one's a definite keeper! I really love the look of Mythical Apparel's clothing and would recommend it to all of my family and friends (I already have! lol)
& Here's a little hammy love! Cute huh?

Sexy dark fairy look from Feeling Usa
My lovies, here is my Pearl Of The Day... Excuse the bad hair (I'm in the middle of a hair crisis at the moment) and check it out!Is this not the most beautiful corset & skirt you've ever seen? I just love it! It's from Feeling USA. Definitely check them out! They don't only have lingerie, but they have a huge variety of dresses and lingerie and right now, they have some outstanding summer dresses!
Now, about this stunning corset & skirt,
They do come as a set incase you're wondering. I've not found any other site that sells this set together. It's an amazing corset!
By the way, take a close look at the photo above. Look near my shoulder/chest right under my chin! Do ya see it? It's a big orb! I had tons of orbs in my photos when taking these pics!
Feeling USA has several corsets that come paired with this skirt so you can choose your favorite colors. I could not resist this purple. It feels so pretty and very dark fairy-like. I just loved it. The BF said it looked so beautiful & "sinister." It goes perfectly with the skirt.
The entire corset is silky, even the inside where most are lined with an almost itchy lining. This one is silky inside and out! It's very comfortable. It's a beautiful purple & the strips you see that look brighter are actually the same color purple, but they stand out more when light shines on them. This corset could do a pretty good job of sucking you in if that's what you're looking for. It is hard to find corsets today that do suck you in (if you want) and that don't look cheap and have bones. This has it all. The front does not have bones, but the stips can help to flatten the stomach area if you adjust the ribbon and eye hooks. The strips that look like they contain bones actually are still supportive, but you're able to move around easier in it. The sides have bones which I believe are made of plastic, but am not sure since they are extremely flexible.
The side also has 2 rows of eye hooks all the way down. The first row gives you a looser fit while hooking the second row is tighter. Either way, you have the back that laces up with ribbon where you adjust it to fit your body perfectly. It doesn't matter what your shape is, this corset will form perfectly to it. Tie the ribbon in the back as tight as you please. It sure does hold up very well!
The chest area (as you can see) has a couple of layers of black lace. The lace adds just the perfecy "frilliness" to the purple corset and skirt. Between the cups has a pretty black silk bow. The bottom of the corset is also lined in black lace & has 2 silky black bows on each side. They're just perfect!
Feeling Usa has so many gorgeous items I've been eyeing lately. I'll have a whole new wardrobe if I keep getting on their site!
Also, this corset while sexy, is pretty enough and covers enough that you could wear it in public (of course as long as it's appropriate. I wouldn't reccommend going to church in it. lol) It looks perfect with a pair of dark jeans and heels. I'm going to pick up some black shorts to wear under the skirt so I can wear it to a special even next week! It also looks great with leggings under the skirt, but the event I'll be attending will be too hot to wear leggings. Just a pair of black shorts in the same material as leggings does look nice, especially if you like your legs to show. The black rows of lace also comes around the back very beautifully. The ribbon laces all the way up the make & is long enough to allow a perfect fit for anybody. This corset can go from very tight to very loose depending on how you lace it. That way you can make sure it fits perfectly. I like to leave it a little loose so I can breathe and so a tiny bit of back shows. :)
The skirt is black and if you prefer it to be extra poofy you can play with the strands and it stands out perfectly. It's just too cute! The skirt is elastic and very comfortable. The top waist band part is a silky material so it's not a bother to wear even for long periods. I also matched the skirt with a corset that I don't think looks very good on me & it worked very well together and looked much better. It can also be paired with just a t-shirt and leggings! I love wearing it with the corset though, it just looks so good together. You can also find many other items from Feeling USA that match amazingly well with this skirt. That's always a plus for me because I like to mix things up & be able to wear it more with other out fits as well. It can really add a lot to a simple t-shirt.
Overall the corset and skirt set gets a 100 star rating from me. It's the most beautiful one I've owned and it never fails to make me feel beautiful (even if I am having serious hair issues lol) I give Feeling USA a 100 star rating as well. They have so many things to choose from, great pricing and they have many items that are rare to find in stores or on other sites. Also, if you're like me & always want to stand out from the crowd, have a unique style that you don't see often then Feeling USA is the perfect place to shop! They have everything from a simple summer dress to lingerie to super sexy corsets. Shipping is fast and I doubt you'd ever be dissatisfied with your order. They do not falsely advertise their items. You can guarntee high quality products, not the cheap stuff.
No one likes to purchase an item and when arrives it looks 10 times cheaper than what it did on the site and ends up falling apart. Feeling USA does not disappoint! They also offer men's lingerie and super sexy shoes!
A lot of ladies ask me where the best place to shop for lingerie that offers more than just plain old everyday stuff and Feeling USA is always my first answer! Another reason that I love Feeling USA is that they DO offer a great selection of plus size lingerie. The question I get the most is "does ANY site sale good plus size lingerie?" Feeling usa does!

Lovely Prism Pigments eyeshadow "Unicorn"
Hello my lovies,
I have one heck of an eye shadow to brag on here. I'll let the picture do the talking first...
Prism Pigments better than my other pics. For some reason, my camera was not really capturing the color well at all. It's actually a very light, shimmer purple color called "Unicorn."
It's such a gorgeous eye shadow, I hate that it didn't show how bold it really is. In some light it does look silver as well and that's beautiful!
Like I said this eyeshadow is from Prism Pigments. They're shadows are so light. You can't feel them on your eye lids, even if you do cake it on. It's a wonderful color and product.
I loved the colors. I also have a yellow, and a few more that I'll show. I think so far, the Unicorn is my favorite.
I was really loving that the shimmer eye shadow didn't get all over my face. I have a huge problem with keeping it only on the lids. I guess the Prism Pigment shadows are so light and airy that they don't clump up and fall onto your face.
You can swipe a little across your lids for a light color or you can swipe a couple of times for more bold-ness. I'm more of a bold color kind of girl so I usually have to pack it on. With the Prism Pigments, no caking was necessary as it goes on very well!
These shadows are certainly unique and unlike any I've ever used. I loved how soft they were and I really loved the Rice Powder (I posted on previously.) That stuff is truly a miracle! It works great if you swipe across your lids before applying the Prism Pigment shadows and keeps it from running or creasing. Even without using the Rice Powder first, the eyeshadow didn't smudge, run, or all gather in the creases at all. I even kept it on over night and woke up the next morning with it still perfectly in place! These are most definitely a top choice for me now.
Overall, I'd give them a 10. No con's that I've picked up on. They're all so pretty.
Keep in mind that you can "custom order" from Prism Pigments and they regularly have great deals on the shadows. You can try a sample pack or choose from the 5. 0z jars and many more! They also carry blush and other cosmetics.

eye shadow & bad hair
~My PeArL Of The Day~
Bright metallic purple eye shadow! I love bright eye shadow and yes, sometimes I tend to over-do it lol. I find a way to fit this purple shadow & the green into my "beauty routine" once a week. They're the best colors, go on great! And I know you're thinking WTF DID SHE DO TO HER HAIR?! I WONDER IF SHE KNOWS HOW TERRIBLE IT LOOKS! Yes, I know! lol I had a horrific experience a couple of weeks ago at the salon. My hair stylist quit & I let this other girl do it & she totally jacked it up! She actually told me that she "hated my hair cut & would talk anybody out of it." All I needed was the back trimmed a half inch and she took the entire right side of my hair, picked it up & chopped about 3 inches from my scalp! So every bit of my hair on that side is only about 3 inches long. Then thank God I had those little strands that hide behind your ear tucked behind so she didn't get those & that's the little hairs you see that are actually kinda long.
Anyways, she kept bitching while cutting about how she hated my hair style/cut I explained that I didn't care & it got worse. She had already f'd it up, but I wasn't in front of the mirror (probably for a reason. I should've known when she turned the chair to face away from the mirror) so I didn't see how bad it was til she was done.
It was a lot worse than this. Seriously I had a mullet! I swear! And I stood up, looked in the mirror & went totally speechless. She walked to the register & I stood there in front of the mirror, mouth wide open. I tried to be quiet & not cry right there, but it had to be fixed. I NEVER speak up. I mean I just don't do it. But my facial expression gave it away so badly. She said with a blood red face, "Is something wrong?"
I said "Uh... no... Well, I hate to ask this & I'm so sorry, but you didn't trim the back & that's all I asked for. I'm sorry." That's not all that was wrong, my hair was awful & I couldn't tell her.
She was pissed. She didn't expect me to speak up probably because my B/F was with me & he has to tell people that I'm quiet & don't say what I really want. lol So he told her that so she'd know.
So she trimmed the back.
I kept holding tears back. I was shaking so bad.
Then she asked for the money. I stood staring in the mirror again & my b/f says "Oh my gosh! Are you OK? Do you like it?"
I said "Uh.. yea. Let's just go." But he knows me far too well.
b/f: "No! Were not going. I know you don't like it... Please don't cry. We'll fix it."
By this time, the girl was coming back to find out why I was still standing there.
I replied to b/f: "It's fine, it's just because my bangs were screwed up so it looks weird."
So clear that I was lying. The girl kept asking to get paid so finally I jerked the 15.00 ($15 for a half inch off only the back of my hair. Usually only costs around 8-9) out of my purse & said here take it and started crying.
I went to walk out when I heard "You made her cry! You knew she asked you to please not touch any hair but the very back. If it were up to me, you wouldn't get paid shit!"
Yes, the b/f actually said this to the girl!
So I ran out & had to walk through wal-mart like this b/c the salon is inside. I was humiliated. I kept my hands over it. When we got out the doors, an older woman was standing there ringing the bell for donations & she said "Oh sweetie! What happened to you?"
I said, at this point squalling "The girl cut my hair I only asked for a half inch off the back. I don't know what to do. It's awful isn't it?"
She was full of sympathy. Poor lady. She was precious & made my day. She went on & on trying to make me feel better, but admitted that "it was the worst cut she'd seen. Did a pro actually do that?"
We talked for a while & tried figuring out something I could do to fix it & she said I should go back inside & get money back. My tears were turning to icicles on my cheeks which made it even more humiliating.
The b/f is calling hair stylists & digging for change to give the sweet door bell ringer at 8PM standing outside wal-mart.
"Here! I found a dollar! You can have it," I said digging a dollar from my pocket. Then I ran off to the car. The sweet lady kept b/f behind talking about how to fix my hair.
20 minutes later, he returns to the car with my money. I was so thankful! That $15 was needed elsewhere. The sweet lady had told him to go back & get my money. I love that lady. So I felt better, but it didn't fix the crisis & believe me, had you seen it, you'd call it a crisis too.
So we sped to maxx & mia. They told me there was nothing I could do unless I wanted extensions. To me, that sounded like a lot of trouble & plus they're prices START at $28.00 & that's very high for only a trim.
So I decided I'd do the very best I could & dye it to try & blend it. I've finally found a tiny fix & it takes forever, but I have to style it for hours to hide the mullet/chili bowl.
Next day. I had to make a complaint with whoever is over that salon & I called another employee there that I know. She informed me that "the little bitch" called the police and made a report stating that I was in a gang and threatened to shoot her & a whole bunch of other crazy stuff! I was really shocked. The girl told me that the one who'd cut my hair has had a complain each time she's cut a person's hair. (She's new.) Why they didn't fire her for getting those complaints is beyond me.
I am not in a gang. I have never touched a gun in my life & wouldn't know how to threaten to shoot someone, much less know how to actually shoot! lol I mean seriously, do I seem like someone who's in a gang & shoots people who mess up my hair? No, I just hand over the money & cry! lol
Anyways, I don't know really how I got off on this story. Honestly I only planned to talk about eye shadow, but seeing my pic brought back the memory. lol Sorry.
Back to the eye shadow: Here's the green!
