TOUCH SCREEN-PANTECH PURSUIT

I wasn't very familiar with touch screen until the past month. I had been using an LG Neon from at&t which was an amazing phone. I loved it. But, it was time for a new one.

At the store, they didn't have a single phone that wasn't touch screen! I ended up getting a Pantech Pursuit. I love the phone and all but the touchscreen was giving me serious problems. It seems to be more of a pain than anything. I took it back after a few days & asked to trade it for something a little more "simple." After all, I don't use the internet from my phone for  different reasons.

1. I have bad eyes & can't see from the small screen.
2. I have internet at home so why pay extra just to have it on my phone?
3. I really only use texting & calling & the MP3 player for music.

The guy told me that the phone I had already purchased was about as simple as these new phones get. I was like "Some people don't want to change every time technology decides to come up with something new." He agreed. He said he hated touch screen as well.

Also, I'm one of those who like to keep things the same. I don't "upgrade" unless it's absolutely neccessary. So, I went back home with the same phone that my boyfriend paid a whopping $135 for. I was ok with that but still a little disappointed. I thought that was too pricey. lol Yea, I'm a tight wad. lol

I like the phone but I can't seem to get with the program when it comes to new technology. I'm a late bloomer I guess. I've gotten a little better with touch screen but by the time I've finally gotten use to it I bet something new will be out. I think I will end up loving the phone if I can get better at it. I do absolutely LOVE the camera. It takes great pics!

However, I was a little overwhelmed with all of the extras that came with it. It has a notepad, and paint just like the one on computers! I probably won't ever use those things but I guess it's cool.

THE NEVER ENDING DEBATE ON "IS IT EVER OK TO GO THROUGH YOUR PARTNER'S TEXTS?"

The debate on whether or not it's ok to read your partner's texts, emails, etc. has been an ongoing argument ever since I can remember. I'll tell you what I think about it.... Then, YOU tell ME what you think about it.... are you ready? (if you leave a comment with your thoughts, I'll publish it as a new post wth your link and name!)

  MY SIDE:
I must say, this is a tough one but, I think if you have reason to believe that your partner is doing you dirty, then by all means READ THOSE TEXTS! ha, ha. Sorry, I had to say it. Nobody wants to be the fool that didn't see what was right in front of their eyes. I will admit, I am guilty of text-snooping. Not often, though. I had perfect reason to believe that an ex was cheating with his ex so I finally started calling his voicemail and listening to his messages, he didn't know, but I watched him type in his password to his voicemail! HA! We women can be sneaky. Anyways, sure enough, there was tons of vulgar texts and voicemails. He was cheating. So if I would'nt have done the text-snoop, there's no telling how long I would've stayed with that ass. See, sometimes there is a good reason for text-snooping.

After I ended things with the ass, I got together with my current boyfriend (of 4 yrs now) and in the beginning, I was scared that it would happen again. So I went through this huge process of getting my current boyfriend's password to his phone, and you bet your sweet ass I snooped that thing! I called every number I seen. And.... He was actually innocent! I was so happy. I did tell him that I snooped though. I wanted to keep it 100% honest. He wasn't mad, he understood that I had been screwed over before and I was just being careful.

Now, we are still together and happy as can be! So, the point is, I believe a couple should have trust and snoopin' should'nt be taken too far. If you have trust issues, resolve them together. If the trust issues are because the person you're with has done something to betray you or jepordize your trust then, just DUMP EM'

  YOUR TURN.....
