Wish Garden Herbs Serious Relaxer

Wish Garden Herbs is an Herbal Remedy manufacturer that supplies herbal concoctions for everything and everyone.

Serious Relaxer is an herbal concoction that's good for muscle tension as it helps to support tight, painful muscles and joints. Serious Relaxer has a number of benefits, but the main ones are for relaxation, joint and muscle relief. It also helps support natural sleep cycles. Serious Relaxer has a calming effect on the body, so it can be used before bedtime to help with sleep. It's also a wonderful remedy for anxiety and nervousness, insomnia and more. Other benefits one might notice could be those of the urinary tract, help with headaches and more.

Serious Relaxer is also a wonderful remedy to help with menstrual pain, IBS pains and insmonia. 6 of the ingredients are known to help with insomnia and sleeplessness. At least 2 of the ingredients in Serious Relaxer are known as anti-spasmodics. A few of them are also helpful for intestinal and digestive problems, so this is why I say it's great for IBS, and because it's helped my own! I will go into more detail about what each ingredient can do later.  5 of the ingredients are known to help decrease emotional tension and stress. Many of the ingredients are also diuretics. It's a wonderful alternative to sleep-aids and I find that it often does the trick for me almost as good as Unisom, and equally so if I take more than 2 drops!

This is a photo of the herbal remedy Serious Relaxer. Like most liquid herbs, it has a caramel color. Serious Relaxer is a thin liquid.

Using the glass dropper, you can easily measure out the amount of drops you want to add.

How to use Serious Relaxer:
Add two to three (2-3) droppers in water or under the tongue as needed. If necessary, you can repeat after five minutes for full effect.

Taste

I am not going to say I've come to love and crave the taste of these bitter herbs, but they are not horrible & by mixing it into a drink or placing a few drops under my tongue and quickly chasing it with something like Dr. Pepper makes it more tolerable. The effects of Serious Relaxer are so worth the funky taste! I think it would do well in an herbal tea or black tea since those are kind of flavor-rich. I can even handle it in a medium-large glass of water, but drinking a large glass means I'll be up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. So for me, under the tongue works nicely.

The aroma is really sweet, but also bitter at the same time. On my tongue, the taste is very sweet at first, and then I get a little "bite" of pepper or bitter-ness. It's very strong, but the taste quickly goes away after a few moments or quickly with a drink of water... or something stronger.

I almost want to say it's a cinnamon taste, but it's much stronger than that. I just don't know quite how to describe it. It's one of the easiest to taste of herbal concoctions I have tried.

Ingredients in Serious Relaxer:

Active Ingredients: Wood Betony aerials, Wild Lettuce aerials, Valerian Root, Black Cohosh Root, Passionflower aerials, Scullcap aerials, Ginger root, Hops strobiles.

Other Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar, vegetable glycerine and organic, gluten-free alcohol.

Now, I want to discuss a little more about these awesome ingredients in Serious Relaxer

Wood Betony aerials: Also a mild sedative, it can relieve nervous stress and emotional tension. Promotes calmness, relaxation and supports nervous system. Wood Betony has astringent, nervine and bitter tonic properties. Has numerous uses including treatment of many physical diseases, pre-menstrual issues, alleviate menstrual pains, helps with urinary disorders,  diarrhea, throat, mouth and gum irritations, headaches, anxiety, etc. Wood Betony is pretty much a panacea in that it's been used to treat and help with so many ailments. It may help lower blood pressure. It boosts liver function and stimulates the digestive system. It also has a cleansing effect on the system, which is one reason people use the herb Wood Betony.

Wood Betony is often used externally as well, to heal wounds and bruises. It can be used in the mouth as a gargle to help with inflammation of the tissues, throat issues, ulcers and gum problems.

Wild Lettuce aerials:  Mild sedative, anti-spasmodic and andodyne. Wild Lettuce aerials are used for spasmodic coughs and smoker coughs. In combination with the other active ingredient herbs in Serious Relaxer, Wild Lettuce aerials enhance the effects, causing the stuff to be helpful for anxiety, nervousness, nervous headache and insomnia. Wild Lettuce is known for its diuretic, hypnotic, digestive, sedative  and narcotic properties. This could be one reason why the Serious Relaxer is so good for pain. It's also been used in the treatment of swelling of the liver, flatulence and urinary tract ailments.

Valerian Root: A gentle tranquilizer. Relaxes the muscles. Was used by primeval Greeks to cure nausea and flatulence as well as urinary and pre-menstrual problems. In fact, they used it to "hasten the menstrual period!"  It was prescribed over 1,800 years ago for insomnia. It was also used as a diuretic, a remedy for intestinal and menstrual pain. It was used for nervous problems and even depression. Valerian Root can help relieve stress, insomnia and anti-spasmodic. It can help with cramps that occur in the abdomen and uterine. It's also been used to treat anxiety, emotional stress and tension. It's also been used to relieve IBS pains, headaches and bronchial spasms or persistant coughs.

Much like the other herbs, Valerian is also on external pains including joint and muscle aches.

Black cohosh Root:  Has sleep-inducing & sedative properties.Used to treat ailments such as sore throat, uterine issues and respiratory tract infection. It has been used to stimulate menstrual flow, cough suppresant, diuretic, anti-diarrheal. Has shown to be helpful for some gynecological issues. It's been found to lower blood pressure in rabbits and cats, but a study showed the result did not occur in dogs! Interesting. Humans showed some peripheral vasodilation. It was shown to be decrease menopausal symptoms. It's also been used to help with menstruals pains, depression, stomach pain, arthritis, etc. It is believed that Black Cohosh deceases the production of progesterone in the ovaries. People have reported improvements from excessive sweating, headache, vertigo, etc. Some studies have given the idea that it could be useful for osteoporosis (due to studies on rats that showed the herb affected the serum calcium and phosphate levels over their bone mineral density.) It's believed to balance the levels of estrogen and so much more.

Passionflower aerials: Also has sedative, pain-killing and calming properties. An anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory. Used to reduce stress, panic, help anxiety, colic, muscle pain, asthma, muscle twitching, Parkinson's disease, shingles, migraine, hot flashes, cough, headaches, sciatica, abdominal pain. Improves blood circulation. Relieves tooth pain, menstrual pains, sleeplessness, muscle cramps.

Skullcap aerials: Has tranquilizing effects when combined with Valerian. Helps with muscular contractions, convulsions, menstrual contractions and  tremors. It's very helpful for the nervous system and helps with stress, insomnia, tension, anxiety, panic, headaches, depression, epilepsy. Has been used to heal patients who've been bitten by a venomous snake. Used for insect stings, rabies.

Ginger root: Used to improve "women's problems," Ginger has a healing effect on the female organs and instestines. Also used for sluggish metabolism, stress, bloating, morning sickness, and to promote healing of the uterus. Healing effects on the reproductive and digestive system because it stimulates circulation and supports blood supply to them.

Hops Strobiles: The same flowers used in beer. These have been used to help with sleeping, to treat anxiety, tensions, restlessness ADHD, excitability, nervousness, indigestion, irritability and more for years. Other uses for Hops: prostate, breast and ovarian cancer, tuberculosis, high cholesterol, intestinal cramps, bladder infections, colitis, ulcers, etc.

Hops has antibacterial properties. It can cause sleepiness/drowsiness, and Serious Relaxer will likely do this to most of us, so remember that! I definitely make sure it's near bed time before I ever take it. It is great for times when I'm having trouble sleeping & it sure beats using the harmful OTC or Rx drugs!

Herbal Extreme

Herbal Extreme contains extracts of guarana, Kola, Schisandra, Yerba Mate, Rou Gul, water and less than 3% alcohol.

To use Herbal Extreme, simply add 3-5 ml to your drink. I add it in my coffee, but it's great in tea as well. Some drink it in hot water, but hot drinks upset my stomach so I didn't try it that way.

Schisandra is used for respiratory problems, GI therapy, mental illnesses such as depression, to increase reflex response, improve mental clarity/alertness and more. In Chinese medicince, Schisandra is used as a sedative.

Kola is used for increasing energy and promotes digestion. Kola is a nervine and heart tonic and is used as a "general tonic" as well.

Herbal Extreme definitely has relaxing effects and like the Bliss Tea and many other products from Happy High Herbs, it helps with sleep and is amazing for stress.

If I've had a cup of coffee or mix Herbal Extreme with my coffee, it does increase energy levels, but not so much that I'm bouncing off the walls.

Herbal Extreme is a great alternative to most energy drinks since it doesn't cause shakyness or upset stomach. Also, with the healthy ingredients, using Herbal Extreme will have more benefits than just calming, energy and stress relief.

A lot like the Bliss Tea I previously wrote about, Herbal Extreme has almost identical effects on me and my partner. It seems the relaxing and calming effects of Herbal Extreme are a bit more intense than Bliss Tea though. Still, both Bliss Tea and Herbal Extreme have calming, stress relieving effects. I like them all, but I think I prefer Bliss Extra since it contains Acai Berry.

Herbal Extreme will increase energy for some, but it does have the calm, stress relieving effects for most.

Adding a few drops to a glass of tea or coffee throughout your day is a really great way to keep you calm and de-stressed and enhance your mood. I also felt like Herbal Extreme killed my headache! That's just awesome because I get some nasty migraines and anytime I can relieve that pain, it's worth it. I had the beginnings of a bad headache when I drank some of the Herbal Extreme and it seemed to be a huge help. My head completely quit hurting. The migraine never came!

Herbal Extreme has a bitter taste and has a bit of a burn going down. I drank a few drops of it straight and it wasn't horrible, but I prefer it mixed in a drink.

Mango Grove - Body Wash

                                 - Mango Grove Body Wash -

This Body Wash is certainly making my nose happy! I've caugh myself inhaling deeply just trying to catch the scent from the Mango Grove Wash.

This mango and banana mixed scent is so energizing. It really woke me up, gave me a nice little boost. I don't know if it just smelled so good or what, but I had taken medicine for anxiety just minutes before bathing and was so drowsy I thought I'd pass out in the bath then, whoa! What a boost!

It's also relaxing to me as most of the Hawaiian Body Products have been so far. It's been an extremely stressful week and these have really been relieving and uplifting in every aspect.

I'm really "digging" Hawaiian Body. Apparently I'm not the only one either. I caught the BF sniffing me twice! He said I'm smelling sooo good these days. (Did I smell bad before?) He sniffed my legs!

These Hawaiian products have had my mind of the beach all week! I was already planning for the vacation in October. Thankfully, these scents have given me enough taste of the beach to keep me from running away and taking a road trip!

All in all, these are just too amazing to describe. They're nothing like the cheap alcohol smelling "tropical body products." These smell and feel like they came straight from the beach.

The Mango Wash left my skin just as soft and pretty as the other Hawaiian Body Products. I can't decide on which I love more!

Lavendar Greens - My cheetah print body wrap

There's like a billion women who suffer from migraines, body aches, cramps, back pain, etc. Most of us have quite a cocktail of all of these every single horrifying month. Men experience pain as well & strained muscles, etc. Some experience debilitating pain such as women with menstrual disorders.

As most of my precious readers know, I suffered from the beginning of my teen years until last year with very bad reproductive system issues one being endometriosis. It got to the point to where I knew I only had 2 weeks each month to do everything from trying to work, clean house, do laundry, etc. Only 2 weeks. I have since had surgery and was put on meds for pain, anxiety, and meds to keep the endometriosis from growing as quickly.

I am a totally new person and that's true. I'm really not the same person I used to be all because of less pain. Even still though, I do have flare-ups. I still have pretty intense symptoms each month. To get to the point, I wanted to introduce y'all to Lavender Green. I have a Body Wrap from them that is specifically for abdominal areas and back, but I find that it works on ANY part of your body.

                                  VARIETIES OF BODY WRAPS
Now, this body wrap or body pillow, or body pad whatever you prefer to call it, is not your regular rice filled body wrap from Grandma Edna. This little lovely is filled with buckwheat berries & lavendar buds that have amazing tension relieving and calming/relaxation techniques. You can choose from many different types. Like I said, mine is the tummy/back wrap. I had it just in time for an awful flare up last week. I had serious stomach issues again & was able to find so much relief in the pad.

                                         ENDLESS USES
This lovely, fashionable body wrap can be heated or chilled. I'm very fond of the effects of mine being chilled in the freezer. It surprisingly lasts a very long time after only 10 min. in the freezer. I also have migraines quite a bit & have used it on my temples and neck. I laid down on my side with the body wrap under my temple & after a good 30 minutes I got up feeling much better and more relaxed. It also completely relieved neck pain for me.

I am so in love with the cute pad, I've been going on about it all week. I've found so much use in it.

I love that it's such a large size so you can use it anywhere, literally. It holds well and feels so wonderful after being in the freezer. Although I've yet to heat it. Another thing I totally admire about it is that it's scented. Not strongly, not enough to take your breath, but it's scented from the lavendar which is one of my favorite scents for relaxing (really works wonders for my anxiety!)

I actually have it laying right beside me now. I slept with it like a pillow and loved it! It holds a great firm shape. The reason I slept with it was to help with anxiety. It's unbelievably relaxing and calming even just having it near & getting small whiffs of the lavendar is calming.

EVEN THE KITTIES ARE LAVENDER GREEN FANS!
I'm not the only person who's enjoyed the body wrap. My neice who's only a year old snatched it from me, laid it in the floor & curled up with it under her head as a pillow! It was adorable, but she had allergies and took a big sniff & sneezed. Then I came in from my nephew's ball game to find Fuzz (my cat) curled up on top of it! I'm having to fight the cat for it now. :)

                                               MY BENEFITS
It's definitely beyond amazing. I've really gotten so much out of it already. Perfect for any pain, no matter where. Chilled, it gets deep down where the pain and inflammation is and relieves it. I know if it were warmed it'd certainly be the best option for relieving tired, sore, strained, or damaged tissues/muscles. It also relieves tension in the neck, temples which in turn relieves stress. It's really a plus for everything.

Overall, I'd give this one a 100% absolutely perfect! I could not be happier. I'm used to taking 1-2 BC powders every day or two, pain killers, anxiety meds. & usually every day. The body wrap has relieved a lot of my pain to the point of not needing medication some days. If I can take a few minutes to lay down right when I experience an intense migraine I can usually lessen the intensity by a mile then of course a BC when it's time to get up and deal with chaos. lol

Just a little note from me & a wheatgrass question for my sparklies! (my wheatgrass results will be up soon)

                              Hay there my sparkly beauties!

I hope every one of you had the most amazing Valentine's day ever! (Also, I have a question for y'all today below) The B.F. took me out to eat, it was actually great & a little shopping & starbucks afterwards. The shopping didn't last too long since I was in a dress & fishnet panty hose that kept falling down to my ankles so I was having to pull them up (very embarrassing, especially when trying to hide behind the coke machine outside the store to pull them up & an old friend recognizes you!) Stupid me didn't realize that the set I bought didn't come with a garter belt to hold up the hose until I put them on today.

You see, his birthday is tomorrow yes, the day after Valentine's day! (I got him this Mudvayne T-shirt he's been wanting forever, but ended up letting him see it early!) My birthday is the 26th of this month and of course my twin's is too so it's a very busy time, plus we've been getting more & more designed acrylic nail orders every week! It's kept us very busy, but I love it. It gives me something to focus on instead of stressing over being done with school soon & not to mention turning 21. I never wanted to turn 21. Last year on my birthday, I said I just want to stay 20. Imagine the disappointment. lol

I want to know what y'all did for Valentine's day? This Valentine's day was special for me. It's my favorite holiday, but we haven't been able to really celebrate the last 2 Valentine's days thanks to my being sick. That's all behind me now though.

It's been more than great lately. Last May when I had surgery to finally fix the constant problems that was keeping me from living, is when I promised myself to live. I never got to before. I couldn't leave the house most times and if I did I was late or had to stay close to home so I promised myself that as soon as I was out of surgery I would enroll in the writing school that I was accepted into in 2007. I did it! I believe it was the day after surgery that I enrolled and now I'm nearly through. Feeling like a new person and finally starting my life and I can say it's really taking off and I'm experiencing tons of new things like our crazy orb hunting "club".

I guess this is probably boring so I'll get on with my question that I'm really desperate to hear your answers on...

I just started taking wheatgrass (in pill form) just 2 days ago. I had been doing a lot of learning about wheatgrass for a long time & I really think it will help the problems I have with endometriosis. I had surgery, was put on meds and couldn't be happier, but every month I still suffer for 12-14 days a month! Thats about half of the entire month. It's just on & off problems for those days. So instead of having a hysterectomy which is my last option at this point & I'm only 20, I thought wheatgrass could bring me the little bit of relief that will keep me from needing a hysterectomy.

I'm anemic and have terrible anxiety when I'm not taking my anxiety meds. I also have bone loss from a medication I've been on for 6 years that keeps the endo from being fed estrogen, which keeps the pain less and  the endo from growing really.

So, after learning about companies that sale wheatgrass & talking to people who have taken them from different companies, I've come to find that I trust A.M. Organics http://www.amOrganics.com    most from what I've learned.
I've been taking their wheatgrass pills for 2 days now and haven't had a single negative side effect like what I'd heard about other companies that sold wheatgrass. From the stomach problems I have, it takes little to upset it and send me to bed with a flare up for hours so I have to be careful. I was relieved to not have any stomach upsets or problems from the wheatgrass. It's supposed to be great for any digestive issues too!

Now, finally to my question: I want to hear from others who use wheatgrass. I want to know what results you had. I've not been taking it long enough to know the results, but it did seem to keep my stomach issues very calm today when the BF took me out to eat, I was able to eat a lot without any discomfort & it's been years since that's happened. I'm at the worst time of the month for my stomach problems too! So I was so happy that I was able to eat without problems afterwards. Let me know about your wheatgrass experience or any thoughts whether you've taken it or not.

By the way, I will be posting my results (full review) when I've taken the wheatgrass long enough. Hope you will read them! I'm weird about taking any kind of supplements, vitamins, etc. from all companies, but I really am happy with A.M. Organics. I think I'll decide to keep getting their wheatgrass.

You can find them at: http://www.amOrganics.com
