Herbal Extreme

Herbal Extreme contains extracts of guarana, Kola, Schisandra, Yerba Mate, Rou Gul, water and less than 3% alcohol.

To use Herbal Extreme, simply add 3-5 ml to your drink. I add it in my coffee, but it's great in tea as well. Some drink it in hot water, but hot drinks upset my stomach so I didn't try it that way.

Schisandra is used for respiratory problems, GI therapy, mental illnesses such as depression, to increase reflex response, improve mental clarity/alertness and more. In Chinese medicince, Schisandra is used as a sedative.

Kola is used for increasing energy and promotes digestion. Kola is a nervine and heart tonic and is used as a "general tonic" as well.

Herbal Extreme definitely has relaxing effects and like the Bliss Tea and many other products from Happy High Herbs, it helps with sleep and is amazing for stress.

If I've had a cup of coffee or mix Herbal Extreme with my coffee, it does increase energy levels, but not so much that I'm bouncing off the walls.

Herbal Extreme is a great alternative to most energy drinks since it doesn't cause shakyness or upset stomach. Also, with the healthy ingredients, using Herbal Extreme will have more benefits than just calming, energy and stress relief.

A lot like the Bliss Tea I previously wrote about, Herbal Extreme has almost identical effects on me and my partner. It seems the relaxing and calming effects of Herbal Extreme are a bit more intense than Bliss Tea though. Still, both Bliss Tea and Herbal Extreme have calming, stress relieving effects. I like them all, but I think I prefer Bliss Extra since it contains Acai Berry.

Herbal Extreme will increase energy for some, but it does have the calm, stress relieving effects for most.

Adding a few drops to a glass of tea or coffee throughout your day is a really great way to keep you calm and de-stressed and enhance your mood. I also felt like Herbal Extreme killed my headache! That's just awesome because I get some nasty migraines and anytime I can relieve that pain, it's worth it. I had the beginnings of a bad headache when I drank some of the Herbal Extreme and it seemed to be a huge help. My head completely quit hurting. The migraine never came!

Herbal Extreme has a bitter taste and has a bit of a burn going down. I drank a few drops of it straight and it wasn't horrible, but I prefer it mixed in a drink.

Bliss Tea

Bliss Tea is an herb tea from Happy High Herbs. Bliss Tea contains "Love, Damiana, Yerba Mate, Siberian Ginseng, Muira Puama, Tribulus, Cinnamon, Liquorice and ginger." I'm not quite sure what the ingredient love is, but the rest of them have some amazing benefits. It also has alcohol in it as a preservative.

To use Bliss Tea, you simple squeeze the easy squirt bottle and add 3-5 ml into hot water or tea or just about any drink.

When the Happy High Herbs package arrived, Bliss Tea was the one I wanted to try first. I squeezed one drop onto my tongue before adding it to my drink. It is strong tasting and has a taste of herbs. The ingredient that stood out most to me seemed to be Cinnamon. It's not something I could drink straight, but a few drops on the tongue isn't bad. The taste is not bad, in fact, I can handle the taste of Bliss Tea better than a lot of energy drinks. The smell is almost as strong as the taste. It smells like what you smell when walking in an herb store... I love that smell! I had a few drops in a small cup about to add it to coffee and our 12 year old spilled it! I was able to smell it afterward and it left a clean, relaxing scent in the room.

 About the ingredients:

DAMIANA: is often used as an aphrodisiac and to treat certain health issues. It's sometimes used to help with reproductive issues in women. It's also used coughing, depression, tiredness, constipation, etc. While Damiana can give some people energy, for some it's a mild downer. It does have a relaxing effect and will help with sleeping problems.

Scientific studies on Damiana haven't proved these benefits, but that's not to say they won't be noticed by some. It can be helpful for erectile dysfunction and is not a harmful herb from what I've gathered.

YERBA MATE: Yerba Mate contains theophylline, and theobromin and caffeine, but won't cause stomach upsets and jitters like coffee or energy drinks.

TRIBULUS: Used for erectile dysfunction, infertility and low libido. It's used for better performance during excersize, sports and intercourse. It is said to increase testosterone, but some studies have shown that it has no effects.

NOTE: Pregnant or nursing women or people with breast or prostate cancer should not use tribulus!

MUIRA PUAMA: Used as a nerve tonic to treat nervous disorders. It's also used to treat cardiac and gastrointestinal weakness, paralysis, menstrual problems, rheumatism, infertility or impotence.  While it's used to help gastrointestinal weakness, it can still cause stomach upsets and diarrhea.

So, there's a little bit of interesting info about some of the ingredients in Bliss Tea. In my opinion, Bliss Tea is good for enhancing your mood, relaxing and great for anxiety. When I  drink Bliss Tea mixed in my coffee, I don't notice much of a change in energy, but that could also be because I'm mixing it in strong coffee so the effects may be similar to that of coffee.

Bliss Tea is a unique and great product. I love the ingredients and that it isn't full of harmful ingredients with side effects. I find Bliss Tea's effects to vary depending on how I already feel. When I am already energetic, had enough sleep and have had a cup of coffee, it seems to enhance energy levels while putting me in a calm state of mind. I'm not calm, ever so I was really able to notice those effects.

If I'm tired already and stressed out, the Bliss Tea seemed to relax me a great deal and make me sleepier. I'm guessing the tiredness felt so intense because I was so relaxed. I definitely noticed a difference in calmness and better sleep.

For my partner, he drank Bliss Tea straight when he was tired the other night. He said he felt like it made him even more tired. So it seems like it kind of enhances what you're already feeling while making you calm as well.

We were really fond of Bliss Tea. It won't keep you up burning the midnight oil, but it's great to have for my anxiety and stress.  As for the aphrodisiac effects, it's hard to say.  It could have been just because I was thinking about it, but it semed like it might have put me in the mood just a bit more.  It didn't have me stripping down naked, but I think I had more sexy ideas than normally. It really depends on the person though. My partner, he wasn't aroused from the tea at all.

Bliss Tea's container says "feel the loving energy of mother earths delights..be happy, be horny, be healthy!" I thought that was cute.

Overall, I do like Bliss Tea a lot. I wouldn't mind trying it on a daily basis for the benefits. It would be worth it for sure!

Bliss Extra differs slightly from Bliss Tea, but has the same effects on me and my partner.  Happy High Herbs describes Bliss Extra like this:

"Lots of energy with a happy and sexy buzz. Great for socializing, staying up late making love or to get you through a long work day."

I can say that both Bliss Tea and Bliss Extra are amazing for stress! Love them!

Bliss Extra contains no more than 20% alcohol. INGREDIENTS ARE:
Extracts of guarana, Yerba Mate, Damiana, Acai Berry, Alcohol, Water.

Acai Berry is full of antioxidants. I like having all these great ingredients packed in one bottle!
