Eternity Rings for Women

Am I the only one fascinated by Eternity Bands? 

Didn't think so, and guess what else is fascinating about them? They have some history, although they don't have anything too creepy surrounding their use, their symbolism is sweet.

Although the history of the Eternity ring's design dates far back to the 18th century, they're becoming popular again, but added symbolism that was attached to them back in the 60's by De Beers.

An eternity ring only differs slightly from your typical ring. It's a ring that usually has diamonds or gems surrounding the entire circumference with a shape resembling a wedding band. The eternity ring was basically marketed by using the continuous strand of diamonds or gems that trail the entire band as a way to signify  "eternal love,"  which makes these  rings unique in their very own way. 

A "half-eternity" ring features gems or diamonds only across the face of the band rather than all the way around.

Eternity rings are often gifted as an anniversary or special occasion between spouses, or even as an engagement ring. Obviously, any ring can be a wedding ring, and eternity rings have been popular for that occasion as well. 

       "Eternity" jewelry doesn't end with finger-decor. You  can also show your everlasting love in the form of a necklace,    

if eternity jewelry is your preferred choice of showing this love.

Women's Diamond Baguette Eternity Band

Of all the beautiful Eternity bands I've seen, this Baguette Eternity Band really captured my eye because I am a sucker for baguette cut diamonds. The shape isn't quite as soft as a round cut diamond, but a little more modern-day bride. Then the smaller round cut diamonds that line the edges contributes to its elegance. The contrast of the two different cuts combined in the one band make this a total knockout.

But for the other side of me, who happens to fancy a nice round cut diamond on a nice, rounded band, this Women's Diamond Pave Eternity Band really "hits the spot."

The various shapes of round cut, pave-set diamonds create for you one big, rounded, finger full of diamonds. (And ain't nobody gonna' complain about that!)

The colorful side of me, which usually overrides my other tastes, can't resist the Vibrant Princess Cut Sapphire Round Prong Set Diamond Gemstone Ring (a mouth full!)

Those gorgeously princess cut royal blue (ahem, I mean Sapphire, but I tend to call this one royal blue) gems, against those perfectly rounded diamonds is truly breath-taking. That phrase is used a lot, but if ever it were to fit an object, this would be it... okay, a lot of jewelry is certainly breath-taking, but it applies here so well that I couldn't help but running the risk of sounding lame. Stop judging me and set your eyes on that beauty one more time before you scroll.

I could easily spend an eternity (pun intended) listing eternity rings that I adore, but nothing last forever, right? I mean, eventually, I would get tired or I'd become so old that I wouldn't even remember what an eternity band was, much less be capable of posting photos of the ones I like. So, I was pretty much lying. It would be impossible to spend an actual eternity showing off my favorites that I find, but the point is, we're coming to an end here and I've got one last beauty to share.

Now you see just how much that drum roll really was called for, huh?

This Women's Diamond Eternity Band is nothing short of stunning, and when I saw it, it struck me as the kind of diamond ring that pretty much every single girl would find perfect, no matter your taste. I could be wrong, but I'm almost comfortable speaking for all of us here!

My Pearl of the Day: Men's Diamond Cross Pendants

It’s Sunday night again, my little pearls (isn’t that  fitting?) and Sunday night means jewelry talk! 

Today, my spouse (Brozon) and I have been scouring Avianne and Co. online checking out their jewelry selection (again. Ya’ll know I do this often) and seeing the men’s Diamond Cross Necklaces is what inspired me to post on that topic tonight.

Earlier this week I discussed mythology surrounding black diamonds and their beauty, and considering cross pendants have some interesting superstitions and facts surrounding them, I figured it’s a perfect night for the topic. 

For staters, the most common reason for donning a cross pendant is as symbolism to Christ, and his dying on the cross (to save us from our sins. You know the rest. The cross pendant is also used in 

Aside from Christ, many people know that a cross (or crucifix) pendant has been thought of -- and actually used -- as "protection" from vampires. 

Others simply believe wearing a cross pendant will ward off evil of all kinds.

Something ya'll may not have known about the cross pendant is that in some areas, such as the People's Socialist Republic of Albania, wearing cross pendants was banned. 

In other places, like a Roman Catholic Church located in Scotland, Christians are highly enouraged to always wear a cross pendant.  

And, as if our discussion on how gorgeous black diamonds were earlier this week, how's this Black Rhodium Plated Men's Diamond Cross pendant for fitting?

The  Men's Diamond Cross pendant featured above is extravagant, just like I enjoy, but I also have a hankering for the beauty of a simplistic cross pendant -- like the plain Men's Diamond Cross Pendant.

The cross is thin and encrusted with diamonds much smaller than the one above, but its beauty is still unmistakable, and this one looks fabulous with any attire.

This Week's Favorite Jewelry Finds -- Women's Diamond Rings

What is the most significant piece of jewelry in your jewelry box?

For most people, the jewelry item they value the most is their engagement/wedding rings, but for those who have yet to tie the knot, their most valuable jewelry item is usually one that’s been handed down to them from a relative or given to them as a gift.

However, a jewelry item doesn’t have to be given to you as a gift or tradition in order to be considered a valuable piece of jewelry in your collection. And you don’t have to be in love or part of a duo to receive jewelry. It’s simple – you get it for yourself! 

Relationship or not, if I see a jewelry item that stands out to me and sticks in my mind for a long time, I’m going to end up with that piece of jewelry. 

So, throw away that stigma that you only get jewelry when someone gives it to you, and think like me. 

I don’t spend money on expensive jewelry on a regular basis, but I do have a thing for keeping up with and looking at it regularly, especially by perusing Avianne and Co. online jewelry site. 

As ya’ll have come to know, I like to share jewelry items that I favor here and on my social media accounts (especially Pinterest!) and I also enjoy conversation about jewelry. 

 While browsing  through my “Pins” this evening, I picked out  four of my favorite jewelry finds this week, which happen to be 3  women's diamond Cocktail rings.

 One of my favorite categories to browse on Avianne and Co. is their Cocktail Rings section because the selection isn't as sentimental-looking like a wedding or engagement ring, which most of us would not purchase for ourselves.

My first "find" this week that's irresistibly pin-worthy (Pinterest), was this fancy Solid Rose Gold Diamond Cocktail Ring. Looks like something you'd hang from your dining room ceiling, but just small enough to adorn your finger.

Now that's my kind of ring!

My mood lately has been fancy, and it shows in my jewelry tastes, as the next ring, the glamorous Diamond Sapphire Cocktail couldn't escape my jewelry-filled Pinterest board... Or my blog, now!

...And I still can't think of a single finger that 27 diamonds and about 31 sapphires would not look magnificent on.

I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely adore the appearance of the combination of black diamonds and diamonds. They have such a distinctive, bold beauty about them, especially when the two are set up in such a unique,  twisted strappy fashion, like the Diamond Cocktail Ring with Black Diamonds pictured below.
