Spunk Lube Pink!

You guys have probably already read my posts on the other 2 awesome Spunk Lubes I've been enjoying. This, the last of the trio, is Spunk's Pink Lube, which is an awesome hybrid lubricant that's water-based and guess what? Glycerin free! Yay! The reason for excitement over the Spunk Pink being glycerin free is because glycerin is a main cause for UTI's and yeast infections, so a lot of people like to avoid using lubricant that contains it. The good news is, Spunk Pink doesn't contain glycerin. But, there's a lot more good news, so listen up.

Notice that Spunk Lube is pink? How awesome is that? A pink-colored lubricant! My favorite color is pink, so this is a fun feature for me.

A little more about Spunk Lube Pink that I love:  it's non-staining, so it isn't going to leave stains on your sheets or clothing. It's easy to clean up too. A little water or a wet washcloth after the fun is enough to get any excess Spunk Pink Lube right off. As for me, it doesn't leave any residue behind, so I can't even tell that it's there once it absorbs into my skin (except that it leaves me a little soft.)

It's latex safe, meaning it won't damage condoms, so you are good to use the Spunk Lube Pink in combination with your peter ponchos! Sorry. Had to go there. And even better, the Pink lube is safe to use with toys too. In fact, it's a really great lubricant for toy use, to ease discomfort/friction during intercourse and even for foreplay, although I'm really fond of Spunk's Silicone lube if a lot of rubbing is going on -- like massaging the fun spots. Spunk Pink Lube is pretty good for use in the water as well, since it's a hybrid lube meaning it contains some silicone.

The fun pink color is one other thing that makes Spunk Pink so unique and fun to use. It's nice to have some color to a lube every once in a while. PS. it won't turn your skin pink or anything.

Spunk Pink Lube is a hybrid lubricant, much like the Spunk Hybrid that I posted about. Just in case some of you didn't catch the last posts or forgot, I'll post the differences between hybrid lubes, silicone lubes and water-based below.

A hybrid lubricant, such as Spunk Lube Hybrid & Spunk Pink contains silicone and water. Hybrid lubricants are good for those who want to use a lubricant with more slipperiness, but don't want a fully silicone-based. A lot of times, hybrid lubricants are safer for toy-use than silicone ones.

A silicone-based lubricant, such as Spunk's Pure Silicone (the one in the black & green bottle) contain little to no water and are made for heavy duty use & for longer periods of time. A water-based lubricant tends to dry up quicker and won't hold up in water whereas a silicone based does stay on in water and will last longer. It's also much, much sliperrier (is that a word? it is now!) and will leave a unique slickness/velvety soft feel to the skin.

And lastly, the water-based lubricants don't contain silicone so they are less slippery and don't always last as long as hybrids or silicone-bases.   Typical water-based lubricants tend to be less effective against dryness and thinner than other lubricants. Spunk Lube's Pink lubricant is an exception to that since the gel-like thickness makes it last longer than any other water-based lubricant I have used.

Being a hybrid lube, Spunk Pink Lube is pretty slippery! It feels much smoother than other hybrids I have used and has a gel-like consistency, so it stays in place pretty well.

Here I've taken some photos to show you the consistency and color of Spunk Pink Lube. Very awesome stuff!

 On the bottle:
It comes in an 8 oz. bottle, which is a great size since it lasts for a good while. Other Spunk Lubes come in both small and large bottles. The small ones are great for travel. I keep the small silicone one in my purse for use on-the-go when I'm not at home & for inserting those fun ol' kegel balls.

The front of the Spunk Pink Lube says "SPUNK Pink, glycerin free Hybrid lubricant."

The back of the bottle is informative -- it says:

"Our award-winning, hypo-allergenic formula is now Pink and glycerin-free. Spunk Pink is non-staining, long lasting and safe to use with all toys and condoms. This unique water-based hybrid lube is fun to use and it won't get sticky or tacky. Spunk Pink is perfect for every occasion! Add a burst of color with Spunk Pink!"

As you may can see, Spunk Lube Pink (and all Spunk Lubes) come sealed with a perforated plastic piece. This ensures no spillage during delivery.

The ingredients are also listed on the back. They are as follows:

Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Dimethicone (that's silicone,) Dimethiconol, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxymethylcellulose, Methylparaben, FD&C Red 40.

You may notice the Spunk Pink Lube has a snap-top lid. This seems to be a good option for lube because it tends to prevent against leaking if the bottle tips over. I can store the Spunk Lubes in a drawer and they won't leak out.

D. Enterprises ships Spunk Lubes discreetly with nothing on the package that gives away your products inside. It simply says D. Enterprises, so no worries about others knowing what's inside if they happen to read the label.

Spunk Lubes are made in the USA.
