Liquid Silk -new paraben free version!

UPDATE 12/21/2011: I just spoke with the lovely people from BodyWise, the makers of Liquid Silk today and was informed that they have in fact, been working very hard to produce a PARABEN-FREE version of Liquid Silk! How awesome is that? From what I understand, they have been working on this version for years now and are down to the "fine tuning" of the product.

They will introduce the new product when they feel it is 100% perfect. It's very clear that the take their work seriously and want to produce the best. I think they've succeeded very well so far and I'll certainly be on the lookout for the paraben-free version. Not that the parabens bother me enough to stop loving the lube anyways! But, I'll be sure to update when I've had a chance to get my hands on the stuff!

Loving Liquid Silk as much as I now do, I figure many of you do too so I thought I'd share the excitement! :)

Liquid Silk is a lubricant that can be used for intimate moments with a partner or solo. It can be used with toys or bodies! lIquid Silk is a lubricant, a very popular one and with a sample foil, I gave it a try. With all the hype I have heard in the past about this stuff, I was interested. When I got the sample pack of Liquid Silk I, as always, read the entire list of ingredients first. I admit, I was surprised to see that it contained so many parabens and stuff.

After reading the list of parabens Liquid Silk contains, I was put-off and reluctant to even try it, but did anyway.

To my surprise I ended up loving it! After the first use I grabbed the packet off the bed and sat it upright so it wouldn't spill. I was determined to save the stuff to use a couple of more times before I was 100% sure I wanted to continue using it. OK, OK, and because it turned out to be an outstanding lubricant!

Liquid Silk has a creamy white color and is somewhere between runny and gel-ee in consistency. It's a bit runny, but will stay in place well. To be honest, it looks to me like actual... sperm. This is something a lot of people like about Liquid Silk.

As the name suggests, this actually does feel quite silky. I'm actually a bit thrilled with Liquid Silk. It feels natural and is actually the only lubricant I've so far used that didn't leave anything I could detect on my skin. No greasy or slimey residue. I'll tell you nothing will get a lubricant thrown in the trash quicker than a slimey, sticky residue. I simply cannot deal with that trouble.

Lubricant can be great and wonderful, but for the most part, it's usually boring. Not that it doesn't serve a wonderful purpose, but it don't exactly hit the top talked about fun things list. Liquid Silk is incredibly worthy of my raving.

With no scent and only a slightly bitter taste, Liquid Silk isn't a lubricant that deters my partner from kissing the kissable spots after the silks been there. I would not recommend ingesting by far, but it's not terrible to kiss or lick after it's dried.

With so many lubricants to choose from for so many different purposes, Liquid Silk is a great lubricant for all purposes. Now I cannot speak for anal play as I have never gone there, but I've heard it's great for that and I've also heard it's not thick enough for that. Either way, I love it for basic lubricant needs. It's long lasting. Probably the longest lasting lubricant I've ever used. One small pea size lasted throughout a good hour of heavy... activity.

Despite the parabens, Liquid Silk was incredibly moisturizing for my dry skin. I didn't mind rubbing it in on my legs and hands. It does leave a silky feeling on the skin.

Liquid Silk is the first lubricant I've used and didn't feel the need to wash off immediately. Having to leave the house after use without time for a rinse didn't bother me. Several hours after using Liquid Silk I was still silky.

I love that it doesn't leave residue and the slippery glide it provides without staining, being messy or requiring extra in the heat of the moment. I would say Liquid Silk's performance is incredible.

The little packet says "reducing friction in relationships." That's exactly what Liquid Silk does, but the slippery glide it creates, heightens the response from my sensitive spots.

INGREDIENTS:
highly purified water, propylene glycol, isopropyl palmitate, dimethicone, cellulose polymer, polysorbate 60, sorbitan, stearate, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate NSE, B.N.P.D., di sodium EDTA, phenoxyethanol, methyl paraben, butyl paraben, ethyl paraben, propyl paraben, & BHT.

Liquid Silk is a water based lubricant that contains silicone. This is where the slippery, silkyness comes from, but unlike a silicone based lube, Liquid Silk is safe to use with all toys.

I happen to be very fond of Liquid Silk and throghout my journey of lube sampling, Liquid Silk easily beats the ones I've tried so far! However, if you're sensitive to parabens or any of the ingredients listed, stay away from this one.
