Luster Premium White Review and Giveaway!

   Luster Premium White is a brand dedicated to whitening teeth while also keeping them healthy. There's very much I have to say about the products so bear with me, I promise I will get to the giveaway quickly. 

  First I want to add some information on what Luster Premium White is and how it works, what to expect, etc. The Luster products have been proven to whiten teeth up to 6 shades, the average is 5. and is the only consumer whitening product that's FDA cleared (if you care about the FDA clearing a product?) 


  What do I love about Luster products?

1.  They are totally safe and cause absolutely no damage to teeth. I absolutely love that the products don't cause sensitivity. For people like me, teeth whitening can cause such severe pain that it's intolerable. I read that Luster would not cause sensitivity, but was a tiny bit skeptical for myself since mine are always sensitive. I have actually had severe pain from a simple 20 minute whitening with the drug store teeth whitening products. Sensitivity is an understatement for the pain I've experienced with some products, lasting for 24 hours sometimes! 

  Being able to use such a wonderful whitening system that actually works - without causing pain and worsened sensitivity is nothing short of a blessing for someone like me. 

  It's also important to add that there are no worries about dental work being damaged by the products. I had a molar tooth break about 3 months ago and has started causing me serious pain, on and off and the Luster products haven't caused any added pain at all! In fact, I've not even had the tooth hurt in 2 weeks. 

  I can also vouch for the claim that dental work will remain un-damaged after using Luster products. One of my bottom teeth (in front) was broken out as a kid, playing with my nephew in the pool and I had more than half of it fixed and I've had no problems with it while using Luster. However, while reading the information booklet, it states that false teeth won't whiten by using the Whitening Light. I don't know if my one false tooth applies to that or not, but it actually has whitened quite well with the rest of my teeth. 

  I'm pretty serious when it comes to my teeth. I could possibly fall under some type of odontophobia or paranoia of my teeth! I've had nightmares since I was a teen about my teeth falling out. The point is, I do A LOT to keep my teeth healthy. As a teen I used clorox bleach in desperate attempts to whiten. I do not recommend that! The thing is, it's hard to find a product that 1. actually works to whiten your teeth very well. 2. Does not damage or cause sensitivity and 3. that doesn't cost a paw and a leg! Thankfully, Luster has thought of everything when creating the perfect teeth whitening system.


                        LUSTER NOW! TOOTH PASTE

  The Luster Now! Tooth paste (as shown in the photo at the top) comes in a small box with 3 convenient 1.5 oz tubes of the Luster Now! tooth paste. Having 3 little tubes rather than one makes it perfect for keeping one in your purse for "emergencies" or an extra whitening, keeping one in your home bathroom and one at work. Or you can be generous Gene and give a tube out to a friend or family member to get them hooked too! The very first time I used the tooth paste I was debating whether I should keep all 3 tubes (yes, I love the stuff!) or give one for my family to try. I ended up giving one to a family member while the other's are sneaking over to try it! We quickly became Luster fans. 

  I expected the Luster Now! Tooth paste to taste bad, but it tastes just fine, like regular tooth paste. It comes in a beautiful turqoise color. I admit, I admire the color before brushing. 

  TO USE: Simply use it like you would any tooth paste, paying close attention to your front teeth. You may experience some blue color left on the gums, but I never do. If so, you can easily rinse it off.

  With only one use of the Luster Now! Tooth paste alone, I noticed a very drastic change in the color of my teeth. It was love at first use. I have a photo of my teeth after using the toothpaste. My teeth weren't extremely stained before, but since I've had to quit with the whitening products the past few years due to pain, they were quite dull and stained. I admit, I'm a smoker and a regular coffee & Dr. Pepper drinker. 

  Since I've recently used peroxide to whiten some, my teeth were about a 4 -6 on the color chart provided in the Luster Premium White kit. Before use, match your teeth to the shade chart.  With my first use this is my results:

                              LUSTER PREMIUM WHITE

  The Luster Premium White kit includes: 1. Activating Whitening Light. 2. 4 AAA batteries. 3. Accelerator Mouth Rinse (8 Fl. oz) 4. Super Whitener (.34 Fl oz)  The Luster Whitening Light even comes with a stand!


  HOW IT WORKS:

I'll give you a quick outline of how to use Luster Premium White and what to expect. First, you'll shake the Accelerator Mouth rinse, then fill the cup provided to 2 mark. However, I was unable to fit that much of the mouth wash in my mouth! Lol. If this is the case, you'll just have to use a bit less. Swish the mouth wash in mouth for as long as directions state to. By the way, each piece of the kit is numbered 1, 2 and 3 so you'll easily know which to use. 


  After rinsing with the mouth wash, you'll shake the small container (looks a lot similar to a nail polish bottle) It's called Super Whitener. Then apply it to your teeth using the wand brush. Let that dry. I have tons of slobber run out like crazy when using it so a paper towel under the tongue is helpful. You will absolutely need to read the directions carefully! This is only a bried outline of how to use. The directions mention being careful with the Super Whitener because it can cause irritation and stinging to the gums and lips! I have no issues with it and somehow I always manage to get some on the gums and lips. I'm able to feel a tingly sensation on my gums, but I've never had stinging or actual pain from any part of the kit.


  After the applied coat of the Super Whitener is dry, you'll begin using the Whitening Light. The light is so cool. Something about the way it looks is just amusing and cool to me. It's a pretty small hand-held device. It's light so holding it to your mouth shouldn't cause discomfort. At the end is a little window where the bulbs are located. You simply press the on/off button and it will power on. If you want to discontinue using before session is over, power the same button off. 


  It's much easier than it sounds. I worried that it would be hard to sit there for several minutes holding the device to my mouth without drinking or eating. It's actually easy and quick. I use it while checking E-mail to help pass the time. I will suggest keeping an empty cup on hand and paper towels. I tend to dribble slobber pretty badly while using. Lol. 


  After a few minutes of holding the light to your teeth you'll hear a beep and it will power off. This is just a break and when you're ready you can turn it right back on and finish. I will take a minute to get a drink in between beeps and then get back to it. It's meant to be used for 1 hour although, like I said, you can take breaks or you can use for as long as you want. I personally use for at least 30 minutes at a time for best results. Also, the bulb will need replacing after I believe around 5 uses so I like to finish my full session so I actually get best results. 


  You can use for however long you prefer at one time. If you're teeth need a lot of whitening, I would try and go for the full 1 hour sessions. I like to do that so I notice such quick and drastic results. I get whiter teeth with each use, but depending on how deeply stained your teeth are, it can vary. I have some surface stains, but most are deep stains. Premium White, if used properly, will get rid of those as well.




                        MY EXPERIENCE & OPINION
    I think my teeth look healthier all together. They don't look as thin and brittle, if that makes sense. I had areas where they looked almost transparent in the light and it seems the Luster Premium Whitening kit has done something for that too! They even look thicker, not as thin. They feel and look amazing and I'm looking forward to more time with Luster products. I can't find a single negative thing about the products I've used. They're truly a God-send! 


  I've seen better results in just one week of use than I had with months of using teeth whitening strips. In my opinion, nothing does so much for my teeth like Luster. It's so nice to use the products without dreading pain afterward and knowing I am not causing damage to my teeth. It seems the results will be long lasting too. It's totally worth the money and in the long run will definitely save money if you're used to using the whitening strips. 


  As far as I know, I have tried almost every whitening product available at super markets, drug stores and even most of the popular whitening systems offered online. I've used syringe filled meds from dentists and I can't find any store-bought whitening product that I have not tried. Heck, I've even used tons of different home remedies! Nothing, nothing, nothing has been able to compete with just one week's use of Luster products! 

  I love my teeth and they are a part of me I've been complimented on the most so of course I want to keep them their even better than their best. My faith is in Luster and there's not a chance I'd go back to using any other whitener now. I'm more than impressed and beyond satisfied. I plan to keep using even when my light needs replacement bulbs. I'd much rather replace the bulbs than settle for another mediocre whitener. I doubt my teeth will need more whitening by the time my bulb goes out, but I will certainly be praising this product for ages to come! It's that rave-worthy! 
10 out of 10 rating, Luster Now! and Luster Premium White gets a 10. Luster goes above and beyond when it comes to dental care and I can't say enough nice things about the products.
