OraMD 100% Pure Breath Spray Review + Freebie Offer

Me -- a proud user of OraMD Breath

I've just been given the fantastic opportunity to try a product from a favorite company -- Trusted Health Products -- that's called OraMD Breath. Breath is a 100% pure spray that gets rid of bad breath better than anything I've found before. As someone who absolutely loved the OraMD toothpaste alternative, I was ecstatic to try the similar product "Breath."

Some of my readers might remember my review of the OraMD oil that I'd switched to using for brushing my teeth with.

If you've been here at Ribbons & Pearls for a while and have read my journey and what I've learned about dental health (I've discussed the dangers of using commercial toothpaste a lot), you probably know that when I had to have my first tooth extracted (wisdom tooth), I started doing research and learned that the commercial toothpastes, filled with the cavity-causing fluoride and other harmful chemicals.

I have basically shared my entire journey, along with everything I learned along the way as I went. I began this mission to heal my teeth. The first and most important step was quitting toothpaste, which I haven't touched for 2 years (going on 3 now, I think).

Anyways, one of the products that made that quitting toothpaste journey a million times less painful was my discovery of the OraMD oil. I had been using a natural, olive oil based soap (bar soap!) to brush my teeth, and let me tell you, I dreaded having to brush my teeth every morning. The taste of bar soap is something I never got used to. Waking up became very un-fun for me as I knew I'd spend the first part of my day gagging from soap.

When I found out about this OraMD stuff, and had the opportunity to try it myself, the first thing I loved about it was that I no longer had to gag from a mouth full of soap.

Secondly, Trusted Health Products uses the best ingredients, which I'll get to soon enough.

Needless to say, I never did go back to soap. My preference is OraMD, although I've tried many different toothpaste alternatives like baking soda, aloe vera, peroxide and even a powder made from Himalayan salt and peppermint.

The only thing about using those things to brush my teeth with is they do not leave my mouth feeling... cleaned. Peroxide does, of course, but I never liked the idea of using only peroxide every single day for brushing.

I'm not aware of any real dangers of doing so (unless perhaps if you had a disease of the mouth or something maybe), and there are a lot of benefits of using peroxide, but I prefer to switch between peroxide and something else (preferably OraMD) every day or 2.

Baking soda, oddly enough, doesn't remove some tastes from my tongue like coffee, and other tastes that tend to contribute to bad breath. The salt/peppermint powder doesn't do much for breath, either.

The reason I'm even discussing OraMD in this review for the Breath product is because the two are very similar since they work using the same effective key ingredients -- botanical oils of almond, spearmint and peppermint.

Due to the same key ingredients that I knew were so effective and favorable since I'd used the OraMD to brush my teeth, I knew I'd love it as a breath spray, too. In fact, I love having this blend of perfect ingredients in the form of a spray because it makes for easy, quick use. I can squirt one spritz into my mouth for brushing my teeth as well as for just any time I feel the need to clean my mouth, kill some germs and freshen my breath.  This works so well, and results are significantly different from those I've had when using commercial types of breath and mouthwash products -- they usually contain ingredients like alcohol that actually do more harm than good to our dental health!

The reason for the different results is that the ingredients used in Breath kills the cause of bad breath, and bacteria that cause it on contact. They don't mask odor by using those artificial mint flavors, which end up making my breath actually have odor after the mint flavor/scent is worn off.

Packaging & Storage:
OraMD Breath comes in a tiny, dark colored glass bottle with a convenient, spray-top lid. It's small enough that it easily fits in a pocket for on-the-go use, which does mean that you also have a small amount of product, though. The dark colored glass keeps the ingredients potent and protected from things like too much light, which can lessen their potency. About 60 sprays are in each bottle.

Since Breath contains a concoction of such powerful oils, the minty "burn" can be intense, but hardly ever unpleasant. It also reminds me of how very little oil is required to do the trick -- one spray, two max. I use one spray and it's plenty to brush, or just swish for cleaning and killing germs throughout the day. I do brush with this product or the OraMD oil made for brushing, but either work for me.

Other important qualities are the ingredients', which are so pleasingly all natural and all safe, have germ-killing properties that are clinically proven (by University of Kentucky, clinical study) to kill periodontal bacteria.

Trusted Health products uses only pure ingredients, no chemicals, additives, artificial crud, alcohol, or sweeteners (which are not good for our teeth).

 My Results Using Breath
OraMD products give me seriously clean breath like nothing else I've ever used. To give you some information on the results, I'll say right quick that I used the OraMD "Breath" today for the first time upon first waking up and my breath was still nice and fresh well into the night tonight (it's 4AM now).

I'd had coffee, and long after ever using a spray of OraMD Breath, my breath was fresh as could be. This is why I like the product more than I typically would -- because the fresh breath lasts

One squirt in my mouth is all I used and it's clean enough that I don't get uncomfortable when people get really close to me to talk, and I typically cover my mouth when someone gets really close to my face while talking just because I don't like it.

I've always wanted to keep my breath off people, even when I know it's not awful or anything. With OraMD Breath, the mint extract in it is so strong that despite being with a house full of people who get super close to my face while talking.

Ingredients in OraMD Breath:

100% pure almond, spearmint, and peppermint oils.
Ah, the beauty of simplicity! Something I've come to expect from all Trusted Health Products is that you won't see a long list of awkward ingredients, unlike many products of their nature. Simple can be best in cases like this, and it's extremely nice to know what's in the products you're using, for once!

Obviously, I do recommend the OraMD products -- both the Breath and the OraMD for brushing. I would especially think them to be useful to folks with periodontal issues, but even if it's just your breath you're wanting to clean up, OraMD is what I'd recommend for that, hands down. It's also the perfect alternative to unhealthy, harmful toothpaste, which I proudly have not used in years!

Before I go, I'd like to mention that for a limited time, the manufacturer is willing to offer my readers one free bottle. They said they would love to have my readers try out Breath and agreed to send one bottle free, aside from the minimal shipping/handling charge, which is totally worth it since you'll get to use the product for extremely cheap. Click here for the free bottle.

Fun Bondi Band Head Bands ~Review & Giveaway~

Bondi Bands have a number of head gear to choose from. You can find headbands like the one shown here, wicking hats, wicking pony tail hats (has a hole in the back for your pony tail - genuis!). They also have wicking pig tail hats, wicking neck gators, wicking sweat towels, swim caps and for babies too!

Headbands are great and wonderful, but Bondi Bands has the cutest styles! Makes me wanna wear a head band everyday!

They're great for exersizing, sports, to keep your hair away during a facial or just everyday wear - and believe me, they're cute enough for it!

I love the material of the Bondi Bands. It's a thin, stretchy, swim suit type material. They're very comfortable and make hair styling easy. Instead of hair sprayin', curling ironin', straightenin', etc. you can simply slip it on your head and pull your hair in a pony tail or leave it down and you're good! The Bondi Bands are a stylish way to fake a good hair day. Nobody will ever know that it's really your bad hair day. Ha!

They're great for keeping your hair out of your face and especially come in handy for short hair styles like mine. Between having a 2 and 7 year old every few days and an 12 year old everyday, these headbands are a God-send! Running after the baby and being outside for football practice always mean my hair being all over the place. Pushing the Bondi Band up on my head is the perfect solution! I can still keep my hair down and have no problems with it sticking to my lip gloss or blowing around in my face, blinding me.

My favorite thing about Bondi Bands are the oh-so-cute styles and prints. Of course when I saw the zebra print with metallic purple, I was all for it. I'm a fanatic. Don't judge me!

The super stylish designs are unique and fun and you can find one to fit any personality.

Another good thing is they look great on everyone. Long short, fluffy or flat, Bondi Bands never fail.

Just when you thought my rave was over...
Bondi Bands are not only the cutest way to comfortable, good hair days, they also donate to charity! Kudos to Bondi Bands! I believe 10% of proceeds annually is donated.
How awesome is that?

Bondi Bands sweat wicking bands are made from awesome material to soak up sweat before it makes it to your face. This keeps your forehead, hair and face from being, well, sweaty and it helps stop breakouts caused from sweating. Wearing the band close to the hairline when jogging or exersizing will allow the sweat to be soaked up and keep your hair from being greasy.

No worries with giving yourself  a face lift, Bondi Bands aren't tight, they don't dig in, but stays on well. The head bands sit gently on the head. In fact, with a lot of movement mine will start to slip off.

TIP: Bondi Bands are wide. You can easily fold the thin fabric in half for a narrow fit. If you want it wide, covering more of your head, simply slip it on and lightly stretch it to its widest point.

Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil A Natural Remedy for IBS & More

I have finally got to try Virgin Coconut Oil! I know it may not sound too amazing, but after I'd heard all the health benefits and weight loss, I really wanted to try it.

I haven't been using the Virgin Coconut Oil for very long, but I do think it's doing me a lot of good! I have been using it for about a week now.

If you don't know how Virgin Coconut Oil works, don't worry I'm going to let you know and I promise, no boring stuff!

Right now, I can only say what I've seen happen with the Coconut oil, but I've heard others claim it helped them lose weight. I am unsure if that is one of the intentions of the Coconut Oil or not though.

Virgin Coconut Oil has different health benefits. I've heard SO many people say that they used Virgin Coconut Oil and had their Irritable Bowel Syndrome completely reversed! They had no symptoms of it again. We'll see how that one plays out. I'm hoping it is that good. Remember, Tropical Traditions does not make these health claims, these are simply the things that people have told me they'd experienced. I will tell you what I've experienced and as I continue the Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil journey, I'll update you on the benefits I get.

First, I can't wait any longer on this one. I'm so happy to say that I've been using the Virgin Coconut Oil from Tropical Traditions for about a week now and I was really becoming stressed as my "curse of the month" came closer. Due to the endometriosis as I've mentioned, I have one hell of a time usually every month and it can get miserable. To be honest, last month I wanted to actually die because the pain I had was so intense. I was taking wheatgrass and under the impression it was helping these issues, but I have had to stop because each time I took a certain brand, I'd end up even worse sick for days!

So my hopes are in the hands of Tropical Traditions and need I say, they have not let me down so far! I have so far made it through a week with only 2 days of cramps! That is the very first time in years that I've made it through without excruciating pain at least once. The 2 days that I experienced cramps, they only lasted for a short while and they didn't get me too down. I was able to fully function.

I do think this was due to the Virgin Coconut Oil. I will see how the rest of this week goes and we'll definitely know then. I'm very excited!

You can use the Virgin Coconut Oil as a cooking oil. I've heard people say it's great for cooking eggs! I haven't tried that and probably won't, but it seems to be a popular way to use it. You can also simply eat it from a spoon like I've been doing. Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil is really delicious. Before I tried it, a family member told me they had used a brand several years ago and couldn't put it to their lips without gagging. Tropical Traditions was nothing like that. It's easy to use and you can use it in so many ways.

It's an oil so it does have that texture, but I really liked the taste of the coconut! I absolutely love coconut. I do have a hard time eating it from a spoon when it's liquid-y for some reason. When it is liquidy, I simply put the spoon in and make sure the roof of my mouth doesn't touch the coconut oil on my tongue, I swallow it quickly and take a drink of Dr. Pepper and I never even know it was there. Never even taste it!

To liquify the Virgin Coconut oil, you can place the conatiner of the oil in a pan of warm water. Believe me, it doesn't take much to liquify this stuff! With room temp. it was hot enough today to liquify it. You cannot microwave it. If you want it liquid-y, just place the container in the hot water.

You can add a spoonful of Tropical Tradition's Coconut Oil to tea, coffee, foods. I haven't tried it in a drink, but I doubt that it would be bad. I actually like it a lot when it's solid. It's got a bit of a waxy texture. I also tried quite a bit of it on saltine crackers and liked it. I dipped dried cranberries in the Virgin Coconut Oil and loved that!

Like I said, you can substitute your cooking oil with the Virgin Coconut Oil. I haven't cooked with it as I'm not much of a cooker, but I've heard great things about using it to cook with. I doubt that you would even taste the Coconut Oil.

From what I understand, it seems you can use this Coconut Oil on just about any food/drink.

If you aren't fond of the texture or taste, you can simply mix a small amount into cereal or oatmeal and never taste it. I've been dying to try it on a biscuit for some reason!

When I was told that cats love the Virgin Coconut Oil, I was not buying it! I put some on my finger and stuck it in front of Patsie's (the pickiest cat I have) nose and she fell in love! That cat won't touch any food unless it's perfect. She thinks she's princess Patsie and she never eats off your hand, but she was begging for more of the Coconut Oil! I couldn't believe it. She'll hardly eat turkey! Fuzz and Pookie (cat and dog) also love the Coconut Oil and it's good for them so I've added it to their diet too and they're loving me for it!

The Virgin Coconut Oil makes the pets hair healthy and shiny as well as humans.

You can also use this wonderful stuff on your skin! I really was worried about the Coconut Oil leaving my skin so greasy, but it makes a perfect moisturizer! You can also use it on your hair and leave it overnight (with a scarf on to protect pillows) or wash it out immediately. I unfortunately forgot to use it on my hair! I can't wait to try it though. I've seen a big difference in Patsie's coat so I'm sure mine will be thick and shiny too! She was losing her fur due to some stress and it's growing back beautifully!

And so far, the best thing about the Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil for me, is that my stomach and "female" issues have seemed to be drastically settled! I was so shocked. I've not had any of the usual daily pains and discomforts, no night panics or flare ups at all! I can usually count on having to take a few minutes to lay down each month around 6PM because it tends to flare up and bother me, but I've not had a single growl, rumble, pain except for slight cramps 2 days! I usually have some daily problems with my issues, but I've not had anything. I couldn't be happier and I really can't wait to see how much better things get after I've used it for a few more weeks! I hope that the I.B.S. reversal stories I've heard are true. It would seriously be life changing if the Virgin Coconut Oil can give me relief.

I'm even thinking I may be able to stop the pain/anxiety meds that I was given after surgery. I have to take them daily. The anxiety meds really are hard because they make me well, to be honest, they make me high. Very high. It's not fun. It's an awful feeling. I take them before bed and if I get woke up before 4 hours have passed, I'll be confused and wander around and then finally pass out and wake up not having a clue what I'd done. I've really had times where I've had company or my sister stop by during the high time and I won't even remember it.

There is no focusing for those 4 hours and sometimes, I just won't wake up no matter how loud someone is or how hard they poke me. I will be so amazed if the Virgin Coconut Oil will provide enough relief to where I don't need the meds. I will probably cry! Honestly.

As for now, all I can say is with the relief I have had in only one weeks usage, I'm more than happy and I see better things happening every day. I'm trying to get the BF and parents to try it. My mom has cholestorol and my dad has some serious blood pressure issues lately, so they're warming up to the Virgin Coconut Oil. Although, I'll probably have to give them a little more info. I wouldn't be surprised if I found my dad cooking spam in Coconut Oil! It's supposed to help cholesterol so, we'll test it on my parents and see how much better it all gets which I've no doubt it'll make a big change.

ALSO I'LL BE DOING A TROPICAL TRADITIONS GIVEAWAY! CHECK BACK TOMORROW TO ENTER!

A giveaway, A short story by me & a little letter to my loves

Hello there, my beautiful sparkle. Yes, you.

I've been very busy today organizing the little work room & inhaling paint while designing several nail sets for the orders we had today. I'm so very excited to have so many orders. A very nice customer was purchasing a few different sets for a young girl who has a pageant coming up & she told me that she would give me credit during the pageant! I could've cried! Really. I love what I do. It's nothing big. We've only had a few orders each week, but to me it's a lot. It makes me feel worthful (that's a word, right?) It gives me something to do & makes me feel like I've got purpose. It's strange, but just these few customers have meant a lot to me. They've all brought a little something to me. & I take my designs seriously. When I'm painting, I put every bit of my heart into it if that even makes sense.

Of course my writing will always come first, but I think I will be taking my designs to the next level while going to school. I wouldn't put off my writing. I love the experience with the customers & the experience we gain while actually designing. We have a lot of crazy, meaningful times while doing it. I guess that's part of what makes it feel special to me and of course the great feeling of knowing that people are out there wearing my designs on their hands.

I'll post a few pics of my most recent. I haven't had many people tell me what they think about them here, so if you find them boring you can tell me & I won't keep posting them. lol

My latest writing assignment was a challenge. I had to write a short story in less than 30 min. I was happy to know that my imagination can stand up pretty good when it comes to a challenge, but the story I wrote was so far from my normal style & genre, but I liked it. It made me think about trying a whole new world of ideas. Please remember that it was written in less than 30 min. so if I decide to post it here, don't be too harsh. lol. It is a children's story, nothing special right now, but I think at least the idea has a lot of potential.

*Also I've reached 101 followers! That could also make me cry! Lol. It's very exciting to me. By the way, if any of you followers haven't, please let me know you're following so I can come visit you too! Since I've got 101, I thought I would do a giveaway! A nail set giveaway of course. lol. The thing is, I need to know if anbody is interested in a giveaway? Would you like that? If so, let me know what colors you would like to see in the giveaway please!

More & more love goes out to you beauties every day. I'll have to make time tomorrow to get to yall's latest post. :( *
