Hey guys,
Yesterday, in the heat of the moment of learning that my blog had been "removed," and later learning my account had a "suspicious activity" warning on it, I jumped to conclusions, blaming a recent service I'd used -- BlogBackUpr -- for the damage. I'd been in touch with them, and panicked when they told me that my blog says "removed," and then I flipped, thinking my blog was about to be lost forever & I hurried to write a post. About them. I accused them of possibly compromising my blog somehow, in an attempt to get more customers. I have to admit -- I should not have posted that without certain knowledge of who was compromising my account. I also have to admit, I no longer believe it was anything to do with BlogBackUpR, & I owe them an enormous apology.
For those 7 readers who may have viewed that post, I hope you'll forgive me for being un-professional like I was yesterday when I accused BlogBackUpR right away. I also want to apologize to the folks at BlogBackUpR, Mikael, in particular for any damage I might have caused. It was not smart of me to jump to panic and conclusions without finding out 100% first & I have since removed the post.
I want you guys to know that I have used BlogBackUpR for, I don't know, over a year? And instead of being thankful that Mikael caught my blog mishap, I blamed them for the problem. I didn't see, in the moment of panic, that they were on my side. I have even written an honest testimonial about their service, voluntarily. I like the service. It's the only thing out there that keeps your blog backed up, and I certainly love that you get to speak directly to a person, who's a real person. It doesn't sound like you're speaking to a company, but a real person & I'm deeply sorry for hurting Mikael and his very great service with my carelessness.
I guess the only thing I can do is keep saying "I'm so sorry," but I want to ask that any of the 7 people who may have read that post won't let their opinion of BlogBackUpr be altered by what I've said.
Thank you, BlogBackUpr & Mikael for being in touch with me & I do not blame you for being upset with me, and in fact never speaking to me again. I just hope that you guys will leave my testimonial up so that other possible users can see my honest opinion of the service you provide (a great service.) My opinion about that won't be changed, even if I do get panicked and blame you guys for my own blog problem.
My most deepest, sincere apologies,
Kendra
