Puro3 Ozonated Oils -- uses and benefits

I've had a lot to say about oils (olive oil and coconut oil and sea buckthorn oil, for instance) and how beneficial they can be for our health. However, I'd never heard of ozonated oils and their health benefits until several weeks ago. I got to learning everything I could about ozonated oils and thought they sounded amazing, so I had to try them for myself. So with Pur03's amazing oil samples, I've gotten the chance to try a total of 5 different ozonated oils myself! Puro3 has all different kinds of ozonated oils, including the ones I've been trying: castor oil, coconut oil (a favorite!), Jojoba oil, olive oil and hemp oil. Each of these oils have their very own, wonderful properties. Combined with oxygen, their properties are "enhanced," which I'll explain more about below, starting with the Puro3 Castor...

**Oh, before I forget, though -- if you don't know what ozonated oil would be best for your specific skin-type, Puro3 has even put together a simple-to-follow guide that helps. You can find it here.

What is Puro3 Activated & Enhanced Oxygen Castor Oil?

Puro3 combines organic castor oil with high grade ozone/ activated oxygen. This process enhances castor oil’s many natural benefits. For instance, organic castor oil is a natural antifungal and antibacterial, and so is activated oxygen, so when the two are combined, these properties are enhanced.

The Puro3 Castor Oil is ozonated, so it’s thicker and has the consistency of an emollient. This makes it ideal for applying to skin since it isn’t so liquidy and runny as non-ozonated oil. To learn more about Activated Oxygen/Ozone, go here

Puro3 Oils can also be purchased at Promo Life

This photo was taken with the flash off because otherwise, you couldn't see anything in the little container! I hope it isn't too dark to see. It's basically just a clear oil with a slight yellow tint to it.

As you can see in my photos, the Ozonated Castor oil is a liquid. It has a yellow-ish tint. The ozonated Hemp Oil (which I'll mention later) is also a liquid oil. The rest (the coconut, olive and jojoba) are not liquid.

What are Castor Oil’s Natural Benefits?
Castor Oil, which comes from the castor bean has been used for many years and for many different ailments. Some uses of castor oil include: topical treatment of various skin ailments such as scars, inflammation, stretch marks, spots and more. Castor oil hydrates skin, can relieve pain, improves skin elasticity.

Castor oil is a natural anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-microbial, and anti-bacterial. This means, it can help fight infection, bacteria, molds and yeast .  It can work as a disinfectant for skin, and is especially helpful on wounds to fight infections and such.

Both Castor oil and activated oxygen (ozone)  have the ability to destroy bacteria and viruses.

Castor oil contains linoleic and oleic acid as well as small amounts of other fatty acids. Ricinoleic acid has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties.
You can read even more about Castor Oil’s healing benefits here

                Uses for Ozonated Castor Oil:
Since castor oil is an emollient and amazing moisturizer, it can be used to moisturize hair and prevent split ends, as well as moisturize skin.

Most castor oil treatments include using the ozonated castor oil with a warm-pack, as a compress. Different conditions require different instructions for use, but Edgar Cayce – a man famous for his remedies – has supplied instructions for basically every single health condition there is. You can always find his readings online or obtain it in book form. I have been keeping informed on his “teachings” via CD’s and books from various places. These are all pretty easy (and cheap if not free) to obtain.

Castor oil cleans the skin and provides it with a great deal of moisturization. It’s nice for gently  removing makeup.

I like to leave the Ozonated Castor Oil on my skin over night. I just slap a little on all over my face, especially in problem areas such as where dryness occurs and a little under my eyes to help with dark circles and prevent aging signs. Using it overnight is best, in my opinion, since the skin does its healing during the first 3 hours of sleep.

Can be used on wounds to fight infection and bacteria and help promote healing.
As a lip balm with healing effects. Castor oil is effective in preventing dry skin, it re-moisturizes dry skin.

As an anti-aging treatment. This is one reason I favor using oils on my skin. They are the best ways to prevent signs of aging and reduce problems like dark circles. Olive oil and castor oil as well as some others are very effective for these things.

Edgar Cayce recommended Castor oil in the treatment of so many different health problems. His writing often recommended using castor oil packs to help with stomach problems, appendicitis, arthritis, cerebral palsy, cirrhosis, constipation, colitis, sciatia, edema, gall bladder problems, sinusitis, shingles, migraine, MS, bladder and vaginal infection, Crohn’s disease, hepatitis, used in the fight against Lyme Disease, used to treat mucus membrane diseases, etc.

Edgar Cayce also recommended ozonated castor oil to heal digestive system, joint pain, back pain, muscle injuries, lymph nodes, warts, most any skin condition, hyperactivity, allergies, sleeping disorders.

P.S. I've even read that castor oil (and olive oil) can be successful in the treatment of lice! It works by smothering the lice. To treat, I'd probably make sure to get the oil all over my scalp so that no lice could escape. I'd probably be sure to coat all of my hair in the oil as well, to kill the ones hanging out on hair shafts.

I figure, if castor oil and olive oil smother lice, then ozonated oils will do an even better job. At the very least, they'd provide healing of the inflamed scalp area, and a healthy scalp.

             Puro3 Ozonated Jojoba Oil

I have tried Puro3's amazing Ozonated Jojoba oil in both scented and unscented. To me, they both smell pretty similar, especially since the smell that's put out by an oil (or anything) that has been ozonated is kind of powerful. Kind of like a very clean, plastic-y scent. This is what the oils smell like -- obviously, since they've been ozonated. I do like that they smell because that's one way to be sure the product you're buying is truly ozonated and not some rip-off.

The ozonated Jojoba oil, much like the ozonated Coconut and Olive are a thick, rich creamy oil. The Ozonated Jojoba Oil is white in color. The olive has a similar consistency, only it has more of a clear color to it.

They're not liquid and runny like oils tends to be. This makes it easy to apply it externally, and it feels amazing on my skin! I love it as a skin softener on my feet and other dry, rough spots. It's also amazing for skin since these oils all have big anti-aging + properties.

Despite the different colors/consistencies, all of these oils feel amazing on, and are magnificent moisturizers.

What is Puro3 Activated/Enhanced Jojoba Oil?
Ozonated Jojoba Oil (and any oil, for that matter) is made using the same process as I described for the Ozonated Castor Oil. I'll still include it for each oil, though:

Puro3 combines organic oil (in this case, organic Jojoba Oil) with high grade ozone/ activated oxygen. This process enhances oil’s many natural benefits.

For instance, organic castor oil is a natural antifungal and antibacterial, and so is activated oxygen, so when the two are combined, these properties are enhanced.

Benefits of Jojoba Oil

Organic Jojoba Oil is known for its intense moisturizing and healing properties (that even have the ability to penetrate and reach cell structure) for the skin.

Jojoba oil is such an ideal moisturizer because it mimics skin's natural oils.  Jojoba oil is a hypo-allergenic, natural anti-inflammatory that's rich in Vitamin E.

Jojoba oil is also good for preventing infection, preventing signs of aging, heal scars, etc.

The ozonated Jojoba oil is great for people with skin sensitivities and conditions like psoriasis, scars, dry skin, etc.

Despite the name "jojoba oil," the stuff won't cause oil production to increase in someone with already oily skin. You'd think it would, but Jojoba's ability to regulate skin's oils works in every skin type's favor as it will slow down oil production in those with overly oily skin. In other words, it balances things out.

        Puro3 Enhanced Ozonated Olive Oil

Puro3 Ozonated Olive Oil has a clear color.
It feels and kind of works like an emollient.

The  slick nature of the Puro3 Olive Oil makes applying very easy and a small amount is usually plenty for a large area (entire face, etc.)

As my brother in law said when I recommended using the ozonated olive oil for my neice's skin blisters, "olive oil is for cooking." We know this, but it's also amazing for your skin. If I'm recalling correctly, about a year (or so) ago, I remember reading all the benefits olive oil has for our skin and be amazed. I also remember posting here about what I read and saying I'd be applying it to my skin on a regular basis from then on. And I have been. Now, though, I've gotten the lovely chance to use ozonated olive oil, which is so much easier than the liquidy olive oil because it applies easier. Anyways, I remember in that post I said I had learned that some queen (of something, I don't remember) used olive oil everyday on her skin, even in her bath water, and called it her "secret to beauty and a youthful appearance." Interesting because that's actually pretty true. Olive oil has so many properties for our health (consuming it or using it externally) that I've been keeping it in the house ever since. I use it to oil-pull (you can read my posts on that amazing stuff!), to cook with (lots of benefits there -- heart healthy) and to use on my skin all the time.

 Benefits of Olive Oil:
Olive Oil is a natural antibacterial, and is soothing. I even learned (from Puro3's information page) that Olive oil can eliminate 99.9% of E.coli in lab studies.

It soothes inflammation of all types (internally and externally) including dental, digestive system, etc. In fact, I've been known to pick up the bottle of my olive oil and take a swig when I have upset digestive issues. Or when I have tooth pain -- oil pulling with olive oil has been my favorite so far. Ozonated olive oil is gentle on skin and ideal for sensitive skin.

Olive oil contains vitamins, antioxidants and nutrients.  Its linoleic acid content gives it the ability to help skin retain water -- meaning it's an amazing moisturizer. It also contains Vitamin A & E, polyphenols and phytosterols.

What is Puro3 Enhanced/Activated Coconut Oil?

The Ozonated Coconut Oil is also a liquid -- clear in color with a slight yellow tint.

You guys probably know a lot about coconut oil's health/skin benefits as I've talked about them plenty of times. The ozonated coconut oil from Puro3 is a must for coconut oil lovers, especially if you like using it on your skin and hair. The stuff is incredible.

Puro3 Ozonated Coconut Oil comes in the unscented or the "with lavendar (essential oil)" version.

Benefits of Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids, is an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic. Remember when I first used coconut oil (consumed it), it was to help with IBS/candidiasis! First relief I'd ever in my life had from the horrible condition.

Puro3 Coconut oil works like an emollient and can easily be massaged in anywhere you need.

               Puro3 Ozonated Hemp Oil

Puro3 Ozonated Hemp Oil (unscented) is one of the liquid oils. It has the same ozonated odor and goes on with very little needed.

Like the other liquid oils, the Puro3 Hemp Oil is clear with a yellow tint to it.

 Benefits of Hemp Oil
Hemp Oil is rich in essential fatty acids, contains omega 6 and omega 3, which are very good for your health, when consumed. However, they're also good for external use. Hemp oil, like others, also contains lenoleic acid. Hemp oil has been said to "energize skin" because it's so hydrating, regenerating and revitalizing. Puro3 Ozonated Hemp Oil is water-resistant, so it won't easily be rinsed off by sweat, swimming, etc.

Puro3 Ozonated Hemp oil is very potent, so Puro3 does not recommend it for those very sensitive skin.  As for me, I've had no issues with it, nor has my family.

Hemp Oil contains  globule edestins, a protein that's similar to the globulin found in human blood plasma. It is capable of penetrating cells and lubricating the surfaces between them. Hemp oil contains Vitamin D and E and is an anti-inflammatory.

 Anti-inflammatory
 A natural sun block
Enhances appearance (and moisturization of) hair, skin and nails
