These are two lovely bags of Maadisha product. Let's look at the photos of the products and I will share the wonderful qualities of each...
These two above, clearly, are Shampoo9 (pictured on the right) and Oil6. First I want to talk about the shampoo - it's simply fabulous! Note: Maadisha uses what they call "Ayurganic" ingredients, which I thought was amazing, and I love the cute word. Ayurganic is Ayurveda and Organic put in one. Ya see?
The Shampoo, called Shampoo9 from Maadisha is a natural shampoo with the some of the most amazing ingredients on earth. Besides cleansing your locks though, this Shampoo9 is completely unique to any other and 100x's better than any shampoo you'll find in your drug-stores. Here is why...
1. Shampoo9 has no harsh chemicals. Every drug-store brand and even some shampoos that boast the words "natural" on them still contain very harmful chemicals.
2. Revitalizes scalp, gives luser to hair and truly cleanses your hair, removing oil, which means your hair will not become oily before your next wash, even if that wash is a day away! I began washing my hair every other night rather than every single night because it was so damaged. I wash my hair with Shampoo9 and it won't be greasy even when I go to wash the very next night. Tonight was my night to wash again and my hair looked as if it could go another half of a day without being greasy.
Also, I don't know for sure if this shampoo prevents/helps dandruff issues, but I came to my own conclusion that it does.
What about those Ayurganic ingredients?
To name a few,
- Gooseberry – rejuvenates hair and relieves the scalp of excess sebu
- Soapnuts – cleanses the hair of oily secretions
- Henna – naturally conditions and maintains color
- Neem Extract – acts as a natural antibacterial
Entire list of ingredients in Shampoo9:
lawsonia inermis (henna) leaf, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, melia

officinialis fruit extract, citrus aurantifolia (lime) fruit extract,

Aroma/smell of Shampoo9
The aroma of Shampoo9 to me, smells pleasantly, and subtly of lime and mint leaves or maybe tea tree oil. Not strong at all, and after my hair has dried, I never smell the aroma in my hair. This is likely due to their being lime on the ingredient list.
You may notice that Shampoo9 feels and looks differently from your average shampoo in that it doesn't lather as much, requires more product for full head coverage (for me anyway) and is almost a clear-ish color.

What do I love about this Shampoo9?
Besides the amazing ingredients that have so many beautiful benefits, and that it's organic, not chemical-infused, etc, I love that it does so much good for the looks of my hair! I have used several natural shampoos and have yet to find one that doesn't make my hair really strange looking (do not know how to explain that) or super hard to flat iron. I expected that with Shampoo9, but they done something right because my hair actually is doing better than it has in months. My highlights which are really worn out, turning golden and in desperate need of re-bleaching look better, not so orange and dull. All shampoos claim to "remove build up, leaving bleached hair looking nice and not dull." That has never been true. Not with Pantene. Not with that darn purple shampoo. Not with Garnier Fructis, not with any shampoo. Not even Herbal Essence. The only other shampoo in the world that I've felt really makes my hair easier to manage and nice looking is Aveeno, but now I have Maadisha!
My hair is strange. It's puffy but airy. It's curly, but not kinky. It's a poofy mess before I iron it. And at this shoulder length (I'm way past due for a cut!) my hair is a royal pain to manage, and even after ironing, it gets all crinkly and stuff (you know what I mean? Like after it's been pushed behind my ear, it just has a crinkle in it and looks off?) I have been actually admiring my hair the past few days! I looked in the mirror yesterday, and for the very first time in 6 months said "my hair looks awesome!" I really think this shampoo makes my hair look so nice. It doesn't turn messy and flat a few hours after ironing if I get to working, cleaning house or doing any kind of real activity, wheras previously it was getting out of control with any type of movement.
That is my scoop on the Shampoo9. Love it. Love it. I also want to talk about what is in the other Maadisha bag -- the best soaps I've ever touched to my body. I'm not even playing. But I am going to do that in a separate post, okay? Just look for the title "Maadisha soaps or something similar." I'll get it up soon.
