At first it simply feels like wet lips. It really doesn't have a scent and hardly a taste. Most people would never notice the taste, but since I was curious, I licked my lips right after applying the Lip Collagen Serum and it had a subtle hint of something. The only thing I could think of that it resembled was the light taste you get after licking an envelope. Nothing that will get your attention unless you are deliberately trying to taste it. This diminishes seconds after applying and your lips are left feeling like lips! No gloss, thick residue or shine.
