While on my journey to permanant hair removal, I found the amazing alternative to waxing. I'm sure you all remember my horrible hair removal treatment with waxing followed by using a deilatory days later which resulted in nasty burns that left me with even nastier scars.
I knew sugaring would be a much better option so I used Sugar Strip Ease and thank God for that stuff! I used it earlier tonight and had great results and managed to do it all without injuring myself this time!
Using Sugar Strip Ease is easier and not even half as messy as waxing. Also, with The Sugar Strip Ease you don't have to worry about chemicals and burns and ending up with raw skin.
Sugaring uses the same technique as you would with a wax only it's less messy and to me, less painful. The sugar attatches itself to the hair rather than the skin and hair so you will still have your first couple of layers of skin when you're done.
DIRECTIONS:
Of course before you use any hair removal product, you should always follow the directions carefully, but I'll give you short, sweet instructions.
First Sugar Strip Ease should be microwaved for a few seconds. The label says for 60 seconds, but microwaves do vary & I only needed to warm for 20 seconds. The directions state that it should be "runny like honey." That gives you a good idea of how the Sugar should look.
Sugar Strip Ease comes in the most adorable pink little tub and it comes with sticks for smearing it on and cloth strips for ripping it off. The strips are wonderful! You can also rinse them off, let em' dry and re-use! I'm able to re-use the same strip on several areas before it needs to be washed.
After you've tested it on your arm to be sure it's not too hot, then you can use the stick to smear where you want to remove. Then you press firmly & rip it off (against the grain works best.)
It does take a little practice to get it right. The first time I used it I kept wiping too much Sugar Strip Ease & it was just too thick. You only need a thin layer which is good because that means you're Sugar lasts longer! So it's fairly easy.
I thought Sugar Strip ease was much, much gentler than wax and deplilatories. I actually used the sugar on some of the most sensitive areas & it was so gentle it didn't even make me flinch! That's much different from waxing. I've tried waxing and found that it was far too painful. With Sugar Strip Ease, you don't have to worry about pain, the sticky-ness like wax leaves or irritation.
I've had better results with Sugar Strip Ease than with any I've ever used. My skin wasn't even the least bit irritated afterwards & it's cool to see the hairs stuck in the sugar!
It's an amazing product and alternative to ANY hair removal including shaving, waxing, depliatories, etc. I will be sticking with this one for good.
If you've ever waxed before you've probably ended up with serious stickyness that's impossible to get off. & I do mean impossible. I've used peroxide, scrubs, dish detergent, etc. & have still had to let the sticky wax wear off. Not fun! With the Sugar Strip Ease, you only have to use warm water and it's totally washed clean. On my legs, I only had to wipe them down with a warm, damp wash cloth and the sticky sugar was gone completely.
It's very easy to use and can more than likely be used on even the most sensitive skin types. I love it. You don't have to worry about chemicals, burns, nicks or hair growing back an hour later. Sugar Strip Ease is just a miracle for people like me who do not deal well with hair. I'd give it a 10 star rating easily.

Sounds good. It really is a pain using some of those products out there. I've never had the best of luck with wax since I always ended up with bits that just wouldn't come off. And the smells can be pretty bad too.
I think I'll try this. I just wish that hair wouldn't grow where it isn't supposed to. That's never made sense to me. Why does the stupid stuff grow? It's like some cruel joke to make us suffer. It would be nice to have skin left behind and no burns which aren't any fun.
