I'm Using Positive Affirmations
& I'd like to share my own positive affirmations with you in either audio or written form (or both, if ya'll want.) Would you folks like that? If so, I will make them available.
I've created my own categories of highly detailed, successful positive affirmations. I have a growing compilation of a wide variety of categories -- some are common affirmations that virtually every human is interested in such as beauty/attraction, finance/money, romance/relationships and some affirmations that are very uncommon, but still useful enough that there are real people out there who would like to use them frequently.
The categories and sets of positive affirmations I've created are typically ones I've needed in my own life, and have used with success.
Others were inspired by folks who have asked for a specific topic. Each set/topic I've focused on includes very lengthy and detailed statements and phrases for increased success. I was inspired partly, to create affirmations because I often couldn't find pre-made ones that were not vague. To me, more detailed, lengthy affirmations seem to have the best affect/results, so after being asked several times to provide sets of affirmations on specific topics by various people I've come in contact with on the subject, the idea that the ones I've focused on creating to perfection could be of use to other people struck me.
That's where the decision to try and make them available to other people who may be finding themselves in similar situations as I had -- needing specific or more detailed (less vague) affirmations for different areas of their lives -- came from.
I don't know why it never hit me sooner to share these. But the more I see people asking for affirmations, the more I realized it was something that could be very useful to other people.
In fact, it wasn't until tonight -- after someone requested a set of affirmations on a specific topic from me -- that I realized I was actually thoroughly enjoying creating them. Putting such deep, detailed thought into them. It just does something for me.
When I began creating my own positive affirmations to use (for personal use), I started turning my typed affirmations into audio (using a random free program I found online that would read off the words you typed) so that I could easily listen to my affirmations each day, at virtually any time, anywhere, and simply repeat them off in my head. This quickly became somewhat of a "ritual" for lack of better word, as I found myself playing the affirmations on a daily basis. Every day, I'll choose from one of my categories, depending on what I feel I need most during that moment, and listen to them while I work, eat, clean, etc.
This new "habit" has been surprisingly therapeutic and successful for me. If I'm feeling terribly unbalanced or down about an area of my life, I'll select the topic from my list and just hit play. Just like we do with music, only this feels more beneficial sometimes.
Anyways, the idea hit me that I might share my created affirmations somehow -- such as in an audio format where folks can use them like a video online, since that method is easy to incorporate into one's life whereas other ways of using affirmations (like by reading them) takes time and more effort than simply hitting play and listening to them be read off.
With that said, would any of you guys be interested in them too? If I were to make them available here on my blog (in audio format or written or both?) would anybody be interested in them? If you guys are, my next step will be to put them up!
